To be shocked todays Wordle isn’t trending (contains spoilers)

Me and DP both do it, and ours resolved to different answers today ! I would have got his answer in 3, and he would have got mine in 3 ! Have seen reports of the ‘split site’ problem, in addition my answer was unfairly vague I think, anyone else perplexed this morning ? On a serious note, it’s given us plenty to talk about, though my brain is a bit tired 😁

Slave is one of the six words removed from the wordle list. Lynch was also removed. Should they have been moved to the valid word list?

What is Quordle?

It’s the 7th layer of hell is what it is. You have basically 4 different words to guess but every time you guess a word it’s a guess for all 4 words.

Hadn’t heard of Quordle, will give it a go, I’m enjoying Dordle occasionally, which is half the hell … two words to try and solve with each guess. I also hadn’t heard of Globle, just tried it, I’m hopeless at geography so had to cheat and keep looking at Google maps but what a great way to teach yourself country locations !

At least Quordle does give you extra guesses - which you need IME!

Quordle is INSANE but I’m hooked.

Wow I’m jealous! I’ve only ever done 3 out of 4 quordles! Weirdly I’m better at Nerdle and I hate maths. 🤣

Just done the NYT Wordle - all letters in bar the second by third attempt. Thankfully, hit the jackpot with the fourth, but would have been cheesed off if I'd tried the alternative words that fitted first.

Just found quordle, adding to the list! My DS 11 is amazing at geography so we do Worldle together*
*by together I mean I type his guesses

Byrdle is quite fun. They're splendidly rude when you take a long time to guess.

I like Byrdle too - but KYRIE the other day was oarticularly challenging..

Wordle has gone woke. I'm not playing a New York Woke Wordle it can fuck off. Shame because it was good while it lasted.

Word for female dog has been removed.

Interesting @Linguini I can understand offensive words being removed from the solutions list but to remove these words from the valid words list seems a bit like censorship.

I was to play a lot of scrabble, if it was in the dictionary, it was allowed
