To be shocked todays Wordle isn’t trending (contains spoilers)

Me and DP both do it, and ours resolved to different answers today ! I would have got his answer in 3, and he would have got mine in 3 ! Have seen reports of the ‘split site’ problem, in addition my answer was unfairly vague I think, anyone else perplexed this morning ? On a serious note, it’s given us plenty to talk about, though my brain is a bit tired 😁

Dh and I had an argument about it at half past midnight last night. I was giving him clues about where the r went so he quickly approached 6 attempts. Then I just told him ‘aroma’ and he said it can’t be. Another chunter. They he showed me after 5 and we searched an anagram solver for the first time. Never heard of agora! He then couldn’t sleep as he was cross and I couldn’t sleep as I was laughing at my ‘helpful’ tips trashing his stats.

Glad I’ve seen this! I got it earlier but DH is struggling with it at the moment. He clearly has a different word to me. I had the easier one.

It has been amended. Agora comes up as not in the dictionary. Your husband has the same word as you.

My word was different… it begins with C

I got something beginning with C too. Then on my second guess the page crashed or refreshed or something. Then when I got back to the page it was a whole different word (aroma).

The NYT has bought the game and the original site will soon be no more so probably some kind of transition glitch.

And they apparently paid millions to kudos to whomever started the game a few months ago. They are now rich!

I've just tried it on the NYT site and entered the word that was on the Powerlanguage site this morning, and it's the same word. Was there a glitch that's been fixed or are many people just not familiar with the word?

It has been explained I think. It is related to whether or not a person's browser had updated and therefore 'moved' to the nyt wordle. I had never updated my ipad and kept the page open and got the 'old' wordle ie agora. Anyone whose device had already magically 'moved' got aroma.

My husband did the ny word and yes I did the power language different words but a lot of letter in common between both words!

DS introduced me to Wordle yesterday. His was Greek mine was English today, his friend was English word too. We were all puzzled.
