Phone dropped in the North Sea? Everything 'unfortunately' wiped from devices?

YABU - those things really were totally coincidental that happened just after they were told to hand them in

YANBU yeah ...right...

From her Instagram page. I don’t think this is the V for Victory.

What a sad life she leads.

Imagine having that as a role model - poor children 😞

I haven't followed this but I get the gist. This picture looks like a sulky 15 year old and she should get someone to do her hair.

Both these women use social media and have large followings. No doubt they get paid for promotions on these outlets. As @LetsGoRound says CR has been with Wayne since they were teenagers and they share 4dss. Despite Wayne being a handful Colleen has stayed with him. Clearly it's understandable that with their 4ds growing up she'd like to minimise any bad publicity on Wayne.

Colleen set a trap for RV, which she fell for, reporting to the Sun. So was RV thinking she was set up and overlooked the fact that she'd been set up due to divulging confidential information in the first place.

RV has a more colourful background and Jamie's dps didn't even go to their wedding. Apparently this case will now allow CR to pursue a claim against Caroline Watt, whom she wasn't allowed to add to the claim taken out by RV. Hope the Sun paid RV well for her information

Rooney could, in theory, bring a claim against Watt for misuse of private information. Given the decision in this case, it would be as close to a nailed-on win as you can get in court. I suspect she won't bother.

Ocsetldil · 06/08/2022 23:40

Well, now The Sun itself has turned on Becky. Good luck to her.

xJoyfulCalmWisdomx · 07/08/2022 10:22

I am no pr agent but if I were I'd advise her to lie really, really low for a while and then in about a year, reappear with paler skin, a different shorter hair style, less ''put together'' looking. Nothing as obvious as charity work but perhaps back in the public eye running a marathon in aid of some charity. Nothing disingenuous on her part like ''raising money for the wrongly accused''. Just some normal cause. Then, perhaps, get a job. A normal job. If ever asked to comment on the events of wagatha, say, I've learnt a lot. I'm sorry for the unnecessary pain. I hope I'm allowed a second chance to lead a simple life. I'm not on twitter now.

HRTQueen · 07/08/2022 10:42

Vardy is the playground nasty girl that hasn’t grown up

Rooney should work her herself and learn to respect herself rather than waste her time getting pulled into such nonsense.

I like this but doubt she will do it. She seems very self serving

The rain, it raineth on the just
And also on the unjust fella
But mostly on the just, because
The unjust steals the just's umbrella
Ogden Nash

And RV will be shouting about injustice for years to come. I suspect she has a fair old stack of umbrellas and a limited supply of understanding.

Florenz · 07/08/2022 12:07

Why can't she just get a job and a normal life instead of trying to be a celebrity?

pilates · 07/08/2022 14:43

Her job was bagging a rich footballer

BillLius · 17/08/2022 11:49

Ahem.

Any nannies in need of a new job?

BillLius · 17/08/2022 11:50

Only genuine applicants, please.

SpinCityBlues · 17/08/2022 11:58

I'm sure she'll be a charming employer. A sort of Becky Poppins training up her new Mary Poppins through the medium of interpretive passive aggression.

(I used to feel sorry for her until all this nonsense. She's obviously got a huge sense of grievance about her upbringing and background, and I daresay she has good reason for that, and she's been the subject of a lot of bonkers media snobbery; but she has behaved appallingly.)

Mrsjayy · 17/08/2022 12:15

She Really asked for DMs for a nanny position ?

BillLius · 17/08/2022 16:39

Well, those Nanny Agency fees are expensive, you know. Much better to get a randomer off the internet to have full access to your children and house.

True 😂

SpinCityBlues · 17/08/2022 17:01

She's going to get so many tabloid journalists and bloggers 'applying'.

Rebekah Vardy's agent 'in talks to reveal truth for TV special'

This is in the Daily Mail today. The article indicates that Caroline Watt is saying Vardy knows exactly what went on. I hope she does the programme.

That's going to be... quite something.

So legally CW can refuse to attend court or speak to lawyers but can then accept £300,000 to put her side of the story across?

Her best bet is to say nothing. There is no way she will come out of this well!

She did not refuse to speak to lawyers, nor did she refuse to attend court. She made three witness statements. Vardy had called her as a witness and could have forced her to give evidence against her will when her wish to withdraw on medical grounds was made clear but chose not to do so. Vardy also withdrew her application to rely on Watt's statements, as a result of which Rooney withdrew her application to cross-examine Watt. So, with neither side calling her as a witness, there was no need for her to attend court. Had either side insisted on her evidence, she could have been forced to attend court.
