YABU - those things really were totally coincidental that happened just after they were told to hand them in

Vardy is the one sueing Rooney so it's hardly six of one and half a dozen of the other! Rooney had no choice but to defend herself!

Given the latest revelations; I think everyone would have more respect for Vardy if she came clean and admitted her wrongdoings publicly and then perhaps both of them could agree to donate a chunk of what would have been ongoing costs to a Liverpool children's cancer charity and end it.

I'd been thinking that since Rooney was now going to have to prove it was Vardy personally who leaked the stories, and not an aide, she was screwed and would just have to pay up. But now it seems there IS evidence that Vardy herself did it or at least instructed it, which is probably good enough. This ridiculous story of lost data and drowned phones is itself evidence.

I'm loving it.

I think vardy thinks as it wasn’t her personally who leaked the stories ( her pa or or whatever but on the instructions of vardy ) she thinks she has grounds to sue yeah ok . Grin

For whatever insane reason, she's chosen to stay with her drunk, cheating, loser husband who has shown such huge disrespect to her. People are selling stories all over the place

I’m pretty sure she stays with him because he is exactly the sort to instantly remarry someone entirely unsuitable and she doesn’t want her kids involved in his eventual breakdown. I reckon she’ll leave when the kids are bigger.

But that aside, CR isn’t the same, RV is the one causing all the lawsuit stuff when she knows she’s guilty and has lied all the way through. CR hasn’t lied. CR hasn’t dragged anything through the courts. RV is still capitalising off CR’s name in reality. We’d not be talking about her otherwise…

She realised that someone she thought of as a friend was selling privately shared stories about her to the tabloids.
She rather cleverly worked out who it was.
She then told the world about it (this is the one thing which is unnecessary but I find it hard to blame her).
She was sued for libel.
Rather than back down and pay off the nasty piece of work in question she decided to fight.

Yes she didn't have to name and shame in public, but once she'd got there, which of us would roll over and say "oh sorry here's a huge sum of cash"? Fighting the libel action is an entirely reasonable thing to do if you have the cash.

Also, it's better entertainment than most of the soaps, and nobody's getting hurt.

I’ve never heard of Vardy - but how stupid to sue Rooney for libel! Can’t beat a good libel case and this is still pre-trial!

What a treat - can’t wait for the judgement! (Can Vardy handle the truth as clearly she doesn’t understand what this means!).

Yes. Marrying your childhood sweetheart and becoming a mother really does render a woman utterly pointless. Her friendships, hobbies, charity work...all utterly redundant. Yay feminism!

Narcs - deluded, arrogant, entitled and grandiose ….. that’s RV …. they always erupt when outed and it amplifies these traits and that’s why they always bring ridiculous court cases - because they are so deluded, arrogant, entitled and grandiose …. RV will actually believe her own lies!

Mostly the rage of a thwarted Narc can do a lot of damage to individuals but once in the court system their nonsense has nowhere to hide.

Also CR said it was RV’s IG account rather than RV.
