Words that Don’t Exist Outside of Tabloid Newspapers

Just that really, what words appear in the tabloid press but are never used by people in everyday life.

I’ll start with:

Revellers
Tottered
Hit-maker

Flocked. As in "people flocked to the beaches", prevalent over the last two years in all tabloids...

I was coming on to say that. There was so much flocking in 2020 / 2021

'Have a go hero'

'Bosses' - as in, anyone vaguely, possibly in charge of something. This covers all occupations at management level except for anyone working in scientific or technical jobs when they are, of course 'boffins'.
'Brunette - occasionally 'sultry'. Which is a deeply unpleasant term that confers a great deal about race and nothing about mood.
'Fiery' - As in everyone with red hair.
'Brave tots'
'Have A Go Granny'
'Yobs' - young people who are aimed at having a 'life of crime'.

There's more...but I'm away downstairs to 'have a go at the kettle'.

Oh yes - tots! Never children

Have we had 'bedded' yet? Eg. 'He claims to have bedded over a thousand women '.

Who is furious? Who is angry...they make it sound like there are protests in the steeets...nope...its never that..
