Just that really, what words appear in the tabloid press but are never used by people in everyday life.

I’ll start with:

Revellers
Tottered
Hit-maker

Sounds like they’re saying people shouldn’t have a go at helping others?! 😞

It’s like the UK tabloids all feel obliged to use the same revolting thesaurus, I despair! This thread is excellent though 😃

Peachy derriere. ( I swear the Daily Mail described someone as having a very peachy derriere yesterday!)
Oh and 'All grown up' is usually the introduction to a piece perving on a very young woman .
