To wonder how you feel today if you voted for Boris Johnson at the last election?

It’s absolutely no surprise that Boris is behaving in this way but I cannot actually believe that we have a prime minister like this. He is utterly morally bankrupt. If you voted for him how do you feel now?

Corbyn was never going to be PM

Labour wasted nearly five years with him and his lefty wannabe revolutionists ruining the party for a good few more years.

Johnson may just still cling on (unless a popular Tory is willing to put themselves forward). This is the Tories at work look how many are ashamed of him embarrassed by him yet he is still there there still isn’t the magical number of 54.

@TomPinch

Johnson would make a good Squealer too.

Happy? You'd use the word happy? Your life must be shit
Inastatus · 31/01/2022 20:28

@AllThingsServeTheBeam - no need for such a personal attack!

Dimondsareforever · 31/01/2022 20:29

He has been an idiot. It’s a shame because he has done some really good stuff. But some awful silly mistakes too. All down to his arrogance. (Tbh you do need some arrogance to do that job!)

Yea he is the leader, but I do feel the lead staff at number 10 need to take some responsibility too.

I’m not sure though he would be the best to stand as leader in the next GE. I can’t see him resigning over this (would be seen as a failure in his part). Maybe we get another year out of him where he does the stuff he is good at - but then a new leader before the GE.

However, given the choice of the 2 leaders at the time, I would have still voted Tory. JC may not have been having parties, but there is no way he would have led the country and vaccines etc … through a pandemic. His mistakes would have been worse than Boris mistakes in my opinion.

Ostryga · 31/01/2022 20:34

And also just a reminder that Johnson was spending £800 a week on takeout whilst he gave children bread, apples and some cheese in a bag to last 5 lunches.

So you vote Tory you vote children suffering. But as long as your business gets the good rates ey?

GreenNewDealNow · 31/01/2022 20:34

I would never vote for that revolting pig.

Absolutely no need, just insulting anyone who doesn’t agree with you

Not a personal attack. They could come back and say no their life isn't shit they're just twats 🙄

AllThingsServeTheBeam · 31/01/2022 20:49

It's falling on deaf ears @Ostryga. They aren't worth the time. Anyone who voted for Boris and is happy with their choice deserves personal attacks as far as I am concerned for all the points you've made and more. But the posters who need to hear it don't give a shit.

Inastatus · 31/01/2022 20:50

@Ostryga - WTF are you on about?! I simply stuck up for the previous poster as it was getting rather personal. You’ve taken it a step further though - it’s a shame you can’t have an intelligent debate without being personally abusive.

MasterGland · 31/01/2022 20:50

I would honestly never refer to someone as thick or use derogatory marks about the colour of their skin, because of how they cast their vote in a liberal democracy.
The language and aggression being directed at posters is ridiculous.

Maybe you need to point this as the 'happy' people ay.
roarfeckingroarr · 31/01/2022 20:54

I feel incredibly bored of all this party nonsense and felt a tad sick watching Keir/SNP bloke/Ed Davey's self righteous whining in parliament today

Genuinely not being goady, even though I'm no Tory, but could you help people like me out by saying what some of the good stuff has been?

The question remains is why you were 'sticking up' (really???) For someone who has been, quote 'happy' with Boris?

I'm posting from NZ.

Omicron is circulating very, very slowly. Delta has been choked off. We largely escaped the earlier, nastier variants. I don't personally know anyone here who has had any of the Covid variants. The reason for our success is partly geographical advantages but also because people have been obeying the rules.

I have to assume that a large proportion of people in the UK don't care much about Partygate and didn't care much about Cummings because they weren't obeying the rules either.

You clearly have an abnormally delicate stomach as well as a rather novel definition of whining. Why shouldn’t they be self righteous? They stuck to the rules that Johnson imposed then flagrantly defied.
MarshaBradyo · 31/01/2022 21:04

No I wouldn’t go with these assumptions. Compliance has been pretty high here and often people o/s just looked at media pics etc

I recall many being cross about Cummings, at the time, it was infuriating. And actually polling for Cons tanked shortly after so probably related.

SarahBellam · 31/01/2022 21:07

@CheeseCakeSunflowers

I think Boris should resign but I think we would be in a different but worse mess now if we had Jeremy Corbyn as PM.
What the fuck has Corby got to do with anything? Are you drunk?

But not Boris Johnson’s truly woeful self righteous whining word salad?
Inastatus · 31/01/2022 21:13

@AllThingsServeTheBeam - I was supporting someone who was being personally abused because of the political choice she made. We live in a democracy - Your vote/your views do not trump other people’s, sorry about that.

Jannt86 · 31/01/2022 21:14

@Narutocrazyfox

No matter what the Conservatives do, they're still better leading the country than Labour would be. Its a depressing thought, but there it is. I'd vote Conservative if there were an election tomorrow, but it would be simply to keep Labour out.
This soundbyte is getting pathetic and old now and if you use it it only shows how utterly brainwashed you are tbh.
