Being 100 percent judgemental

I suppose we could add judging people for being judgemental.

Daenerys77 · 30/01/2022 18:59

Any negative emotion (anxiety/sorrow/anger) is a medical condition.

XenoBitch · 30/01/2022 19:02

Being able to afford private healthcare at the drop of a hat. Especially if you have a child who is having mental health issues.
Someone told me to go private for my own MH issues. I am on benefits. So they told me to sell stuff to afford it.

Yes! Everyone on MN is going through peri-menopause (regardless of age), and also needs to get assessed for autism and ADHD.
Mummysgogetter · 30/01/2022 19:07

No- one can lose weight over the age of 40 unless they “cut out carbs” and people gain weight over this age even eating only 200 calories per day “coz of carbs”

Jewel52 · 30/01/2022 19:10

Completely agree!

HappyDays40 · 30/01/2022 19:11

Mena and woman cannot understand any circumstances be friends ....ever without it turning into something else.

XenoBitch · 30/01/2022 19:16

Had a dream about a school crush?
Think your boss is not bad looking?
Had a fleeting naughty thought about a male friend?

MN has the answer...limerence!

Never heard of it outside of MN.

Topofthepop · 30/01/2022 19:20

One in three people earn six figure salaries.
Every single person who works from home is more productive.

What about taking in ironing? Hmm

Dnaltocs · 30/01/2022 19:25

Swearing is everyday language, sadly it seems ‘potty talk’ is common here. Takes me ages to understand the abbreviated letters.

Snailhaterz2 · 30/01/2022 19:28

If you spend more than a couple of minutes in the middle lane on a motorway, you are a dreadful driver, and shouldn't be allowed to drive on said motorway.

ddl1 · 30/01/2022 19:29

In fact, you should grow up and realise that adults have no right to expect their birthday to be acknowledged at all

In my case, it's more that I can't BEAR to have anyone acknowledge my birthday (the loathsome 'new age' day) or if possible even know when it is; and anyone, who disregards my wishes on this after I've told them, will be extremely lucky if I don't actually boil them in oil! That's a 'me' thing, though: not a MN thing,

WhackusBonkus · 30/01/2022 19:31

The word “outing” has a completely new and made-up definition

ThistleTits · 30/01/2022 19:32

@DoucheCanoe

If it doesn't happen in England many users seem oblivious.

I was once told that my Scottish qualification was "made up". Also that our school system is "confusing" because we use Primary/Secondary instead of Year X.

Ignore that, we all know the Scottish education system is superior.
OneTC · 30/01/2022 19:33

People being attacked by dogs and run over by cyclists every time they leave their house

KellyABC · 30/01/2022 19:34

Even the laziest and most unbearable sounding men are still somehow great dads.

caringcarer · 30/01/2022 19:35

If you want a puppy or a kitten everyone will urge you to get a rescue pet.

Don't ever admit to owning a toilet
brush or liking your mil.

Make sure you have a fof.

All money is family money.

At least half of all children have additional needs/autistic.

It is. Workplace, outside, the TV. Everyone swears
SquirrelG · 30/01/2022 19:35

The intense hatred of Christmas cards, where the receiver throws them straight in the bin rather than have them on display and mess up their perfect house.

Being incensed that a stranger stops to admire their baby, and the absolute horror if that person touches said baby (and the immediate rush to tell us about it on MN).

Cheekypeach · 30/01/2022 19:42

The view that one isolated incident is enough to judge a person’s entire character.

Your friend forgot your birthday? They are NOT a friend, in fact they’re an enemy.

Your husband raised his voice to you in a moment of intense stress? He’s an emotional abuser, get your ducks in order & leave.

Your MIL popped in unannounced because she happened to be in the local area? You have a DH problem but the MIL sounds like an interfering narcissist.

I could go on. There’s very little tolerance for human foibles on here.

XenoBitch · 30/01/2022 19:43

The hatred and disgust towards people who have a bathroom attached to their kitchen. Bonus anger points if it the main bathroom too.

Exhausteddog · 30/01/2022 19:48

...but an ensuite toilet is vile and grim also.

I think a lot of MN are so repulsed by toilets they would rather it wasn't in the village, because they live rurally house at all.

But I sold my ironing board and iron Hmm Grin
