@Sub1required

If a husband or partner does something outside the norm or isn't perfect and accommodating or has fears and emotions, then you must leave them. They are abusive and gaslighting.
If they are accommodating and perfect then they are lovebombing you.

@AuntMasha

The view of men on here is beyond bleak and depressing.

The way some talk about Trans women on here is quite disturbing.

100% agree

Go on a men’s forum then.
DrSbaitso · 30/01/2022 16:15

I've been on men's forums. I have to assume that people who whine about MN not being nice enough about men have not been.

Moonshine5 · 30/01/2022 17:06

@isthismylifenow

If you do anything nice for your teenager you get slated for pandering to them.

Same if you buy them something. They should be out working and buying all their own things.

And comment on an issue with a different opinion as I'm in another country, it won't be long before the 'race to the bottom' post appears.

So true 😂
Whitefire · 30/01/2022 17:12

They were all spending £300 in Tesco, but tried Aldi and the whole of their shop now costs less than £50.

JuergenSchwarzwald · 30/01/2022 17:14
@Simonjt It's disgusting. I wish the media would pick up on what a horrible and transphobic place it is.
It's not transphobic to think that sex and gender are different, and that biological women should have spaces (and sporting categories) that biological men don't get to enter.

Men can wear a dress if they want. Who cares? But I do care if they beat a woman in a race that is meant to be for women. If that makes me transphobic, well so be it.

@JuergenSchwarzwald, I absolutely agree.

Seeing colours when you climax. If you don't see colours then you aren't having one at all.

Lykia · 30/01/2022 17:36

Haven't fully read the thread but here goes:

OP asks about budget holidays the responses always are:

Ikos resorts which cost circa £15k for a family of 5 during term time.

Ditto Sani

A cruise even though the op doesn't want to go on a cruise.

Mark Warner/Nielson (sp) cost a fortune

Dunreil (sp) doesn't cost a fortune as far as I'm away however choices seem to be super expensive 5 star resorts or camping. Nothing in between.

LaDamaDeElche · 30/01/2022 17:46

If you're over the age of 10 you must not expect anyone to want to celebrate your birthday with you or ever buy you a card or present. In fact, you should grow up and realise that adults have no right to expect their birthday to be acknowledged at all 🎂

LaDamaDeElche · 30/01/2022 17:48

Oh, and it's fine to leave small children in cars when you go to the petrol station or nip into a shop, but if you nip to the shop across the road in view of your house, you are neglectful and social services should be involved as your house might burn down or a car might run you over.

LaDamaDeElche · 30/01/2022 17:49

Finally, everyone has a household income of around 100k.

limitedperiodonly · 30/01/2022 17:52

Obeying the Highway Code makes you an excellent driver.

Quoting passages from the Highway Code proves it.

Having experience of even a single incident where deviation from the Highway Code was the only recourse of action rather than death or disability proves you are a bad driver who should be banned forever.

The Highway Code is a Holy text.

You must shudder at anything that does not match up to your exacting standards. My MIL invited me round for a coffee. She gave me a cup of instant. Shudder.

FrankGrillosWrist · 30/01/2022 18:03

“ Thinking ‘a tinkly laugh’ makes you look anything other than fucking unhinged”

You forgot the head tilt.

No matter how hard I try, & I have tried, I always sound like I’m having some sort of seizure when I attempt this.

I’m on page 23 & this has only been mentioned twice, thrice with my post.

I think there’s probably just a dozen posters on MN who change names frequently & constantly repeat the crap what the last person said. Then there’s the rest of us who are real people.

Yes, only on MN! But it's a good one.
Kteeb1 · 30/01/2022 18:30

OP posts a post asking if they are being unreasonable and then argues with everyone who says they are

Fluffycloudland77 · 30/01/2022 18:32

I actually know someone who does a tinkly laugh. It does make them look mental.

Mine's December 25th...I'm used to it not being acknowledged tbf.
Hertsgirl10 · 30/01/2022 18:41

Everyone HAS to drive and it they don’t they need to asap especially before having a baby because you’re a shit parent without a car.

Supergirl1958 · 30/01/2022 18:43

One must pass comment on something, like how wrong you are for doing saying something, even though it's not relevant to the thread title or any of the comments in the thread.

Being 100 percent judgemental

VioletOcean · 30/01/2022 18:44

If your partner shouts at you LEAVE THEM INSTANTLY because they is no way you could be at fault having nagged them to death over the last month

Nah, you're at fault, mate.
