@Peregrina

So far the only person to have resigned over 'partygate' is a woman.
Yes, people forget about Allegra! She didn't even go to the parties , she is on film saying that they were not socially distanced parties too , one of the arguments often put forwards in their defense ( they all sat apart during these ' work events ' when she said they didn't etc) Yet not one man has resigned ( yet )

@JaniieJones

Keep going your doing a fantastic job for the Labour party :)

I'm more reasonable really. I can see how one beer on a break at work is fine as is eating cake. But some folk seem to have one set of rulez for the Tories and other for Labour

Very true but then Starmer didn't invite the decorator around, nor did he retire to his flat for a private get together nor did similar happen on no less than 19 occasions but most importantly starmer didn't make the rules and lecture us daily on how important it was to keep to them, backed by the countries top medics.

Yes, say whatever else about Allegra, she evidently knew how ridiculous the whole thing was. Laughter is the appropriate response to most of these excuses.

@the80sweregreat

I did mean about the news with my 'men ' comments and made the point that woman are capable of wrong doings as well. Theresa May wasn't a liar and she didn't mislead government, she was only let go because of Brexit , instigated initially by a man ! It's just that today every person in the news with scandals, or threatening war , are men. Just an observation on the headlines today as Boris Johnson and Prince Andrew are both top headlines.
I wish I could agree with you but, alas, Cressida Dick…

@RockingMyFiftiesNot

It's always men letting us down isn't it ?

I think. Margaret Thatcher and Teresa May were women?

They were paragons of virtue compared with this lot.

I wonder if she is now a little bit glad to be out of there.
I imagine Big Baby has been thrashing around the last few months having lots of tantrums.

ByeByeMissAmericanPie · 29/01/2022 08:46

I think whoever leaked the Allegra video had more on her - probably more on the same tape - so I think that’s why she fell on her sword fairly quickly.

I would be.
