@theqentity

Less than 1000 of you, bet Starmer is shitting his pants at that
I think you’ll find there are lots of posters who wont vote labour for a variety of reasons

This post specifically mentions the GRA so only SOME people are replying to that particular question

Isitsixoclockalready · 22/01/2022 10:05

@bathsh3ba

I would never have voted for Labour anyway!
That's not really relevant. This is a thread about a specific issue - it's not about your general political leanings.
HaroldMeeker · 22/01/2022 10:06

@RufustheFloralmissingreindeer

Is the problem with TRA the A bit

Would people be happier with TRS?

(Supporter, just in case…)

Cos I would be happy to be a WRS

Oh, I'm a TRS. I fully agree that teans people should, and do, have the same rights as everyone else. I just don't accept that this means they can leap into sex segregated spaces wirh impunity, disregarding the rights of those who are entitled to those sex segregated spaces. I support third spaces and separate, dedicated services where required, to ensure everyone's needs are met.

Karen White, a known sex offender, sharing a prison space with females isn't a need. Is fearing sexual assault now part of the sentence for female prisoners?

RufustheFloralmissingreindeer · 22/01/2022 10:11

Absolutely harold

Im a trs and wrs and a grs and probably some others I can’t think of

Im all for rights…

GinF1zz · 22/01/2022 10:13

Haven't read whole thread so apologies if the discussion has moved on. I will probably vote Labour because I believe that removing the tories should be a priority. I don't think that Labour is quite as far down the rabbit hole as the LDs or the Greens appear to be (marginal, admittedly).

However, I am also very concerned about the removal of women's rights and the TRA agenda and actually left the party over this. I will raise it on the doorstep with any campaigners when the time comes, and if Labour do get in, that's the time when our campaign for women's rights really needs to take off. It will give it a load of sunlight and my guess is that a Labour government will probably fudge it (which seems to be their speciality, let's face it, whether it's women or brexit).

shergarsrevenge · 22/01/2022 10:18

I have no issue with women not voting labour at the next GE.
I absolutely get abstaining but actually voting for this shameless shower of tory crooks is equally bad and harming the women, mothers, girls you all claim to be defending. Those who say 'it'll have to be the tories then' I really don't understand. Voting for the current incarnation of the tory party is basically giving a green light to them to do whatever they want, with no consequences for their shameful behaviour.

Omicrone · 22/01/2022 10:23

A lot of GC views ARE in line with far right views.
Why not think about it instead of just blindly dismissing?

Remember when that WiSpa thing happened where the naked bloke came into the women's spa and the women objected? Well, apparently that was a FAR RIGHT hoax? Apparently those women were FAR RIGHT liars? And it caused FAR RIGHT protests.

Either that, or it was fine because naked bloke identified as a woman.

But guess what, it turns out it wasn't a FAR RIGHT lie. The bloke was a convicted sex offender who had found a perfect way of being able to get naked around naked women. And then suddenly all the talk of FAR RIGHT hoaxes went very hushed and it all got swept under the carpet.

ScreamingMeMe · 22/01/2022 10:24

@DottyDoge

You'll be waiting forever for an answer. It's on the list; ignore questions that require thought and may conflict with original fixed position.

I'd say that's a tick for thr TRA chest sheet, because it's merely stating what they actually do all the damned time.

I don't think you've quite got the hang of this Grin

I'm thinking you don't know how samples and statistics work? If there are 100 here, how many in the country as a whole?
BeReet · 22/01/2022 10:24

Long term Labour voter here, spoiled my paper last time, will never vote Labour again. They have shown their contempt for women repeatedly and I won't reward that with my X

HaroldMeeker · 22/01/2022 10:26

Not voting for Labour doesn't automatically mean you'll vote tory. I'm hoping desperately that there will be someone, anyone, who I'll be able to vote for next time but if not, I'm left with no alternative but to spoil my ballot.
A century after women finally won the vote and, through mra tactics and spineless petitions, it has been made impossible for me to use it effectively.

MrBlobbyLivesNextDoor · 22/01/2022 10:27

It's not equally bad. Because throwing my vote away just increases the chances of labour getting in. And they've already told us they support self ID, which means women will have no rights. I'm not leaving that to chance and stepping aside. I don't like the Tory's, but it doesn't mean I'm going to step aside and let something even worse take over.

Politicians, not petitions. Ffs, when will we be able to edit????
Carriemac · 22/01/2022 10:28

I'd never vote for
Labour again till they can tell

What a woman is

Yes, because Labour have been doing amazingly well in general elections and totally don't need the votes of, stupid, thick, icky women. Hmm

Whatiswrongwithmyknee · 22/01/2022 10:29

@Ereshkigalangcleg

Yes, even Hitler knew how babies are made.

Hitler was engaged in trying to make the world 'better' for just one group of people, at the massive expense of others. This is what TRAs are also engaged in. Can't get much more far-right that than.

This.

ginnybag · 22/01/2022 10:33

Me. I absolutely hate the current government, so God knows who I'm going to vote for, but I won't vote for any party that supports unchecked self-ID.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 22/01/2022 10:33

Yes, because Labour have been doing amazingly well in general elections and totally don't need the votes of, stupid, thick, icky women.

People in Labour supporter echo chambers couldn't quite get their heads around the Tories winning by a landslide last time. "Everything on Twitter said Corbyn would win!"

Siameasy · 22/01/2022 10:34

Here

billydilly · 22/01/2022 10:34

Raised hand. I will not vote Labour while they continue to agree with this gender bullshit

Theeyeballsinthesky · 22/01/2022 10:40

I would rather cut my hand off than vote Tory

But neither will I vote for all the “chuck women under the bus oh do be quiet and beeee kind love” parties either

Só as others have said, politically homeless

jenny5000 · 22/01/2022 10:58

Me too and also left the Labour Party over this.

It's exactly the same "We are right and morally good and if you don't agree with us you are thick bigots" attitude that has cost Labour working class votes.

Whatever happened to discussing people's concerns properly and trying to come to a compromise or gently persuade them they are misinformed?
