If there was an election tomorrow, who would you vote for?

Obviously the Tories are a complete shitshow, but Labour aren’t a lot better and I couldn’t hand on heart vote for either in good conscience right now.

So… IF a snap election was called, like in December 2019, who would you vote for? Would it make a difference to you if Boris was replaced as Tory leader? Would you even bother voting or maybe go for a totally different national or local party?

Just curious!

I’m politically homeless. No idea who I’d vote for due to the reasons many of posters have already mentioned.

StormBaby · 12/01/2022 19:59

Labour. 100%
I’d dearly love there to be another option, but there isn’t, so Labour it is

malificent7 · 12/01/2022 20:00

Greens all the way despite their gender shite.

Anonymouseposter · 12/01/2022 20:00

Labour

Shmithecat2 · 12/01/2022 20:00

@SNUG2022

The rest are all in favour of self ID. Can't vote for that. Definitely wouldn't vote tory.
This.
SevenSteps · 12/01/2022 20:01

None of the above! Don't feel I am going to be left with any choice other than spoiling my ballot.

Phrenologistsfinger · 12/01/2022 20:01

Politically homeless - I would have voted lib dem or green but for their rabid TWAW stance. No sensible party stands for women’s rights any more. I just spoil my ballot!

OverByYer · 12/01/2022 20:01

I definitely would not vote Tory.
Sadly non of the other parties represent me either.
the Women's Equality Party if they were standing in my constituency.
I'll probably spoil my paper yet again.
Wont make much difference, my constituency is dyed in the wool Labour anyway.

Sexnotgender · 12/01/2022 20:01

Honestly? Not a fucking clue.

I’m totally homeless politically. I can’t vote for the Tories but I equally can’t vote for anyone who is undermining and frankly destroying women’s rights.

ThettaReddast · 12/01/2022 20:03

Labour because they are the only ones that have a slight chance of ousting our Tory MP, although extremely unlikely.
Without that context I’d align more with the greens, but with concerns on current direction.

sweetheartyparty · 12/01/2022 20:04

Labour but I'm on the Red wall. I hope people get together to vote tactically to get this lot out. They've been in power too long and are corrupt to the core.

Stripyhoglets1 · 12/01/2022 20:05

Labour.

TheHamburgler · 12/01/2022 20:05

Labour, without hesitation.

CamomileTeabag · 12/01/2022 20:07

Labour, without a doubt, in my constituency.

I've voted Green, Lib Dem, Labour and Conservative at previous general elections, but whatever you think about individual Labour personalities, or about self ID, the urgent thing now is to get the Tories out before they trash this poor country any more than they already have.

In my constituency Labour are the only ones with any chance of beating the Tories. Therefore they get my vote here.

hopperrock · 12/01/2022 20:08

Usually vote Plaid but if there were any chance of a Tory getting in here (there isn't) I'd vote for the party most likely to prevent that.

ISeeTheLight · 12/01/2022 20:08

Labour. Not my first choice but best chance to get the tories out.
Next general election will be my first chance to vote after getting citizenship (EU citizen). Can't bloody wait.

Parky04 · 12/01/2022 20:08

Conservative. Impressed by no further restrictions despite the Welsh and the Scots imposing their ridiculous point scoring measures! Labour also wanted further restrictions, so will never vote for them.

MrsCremuel · 12/01/2022 20:09

Labour. I’m not impressed by the current leadership but Rosie Duffield is my MP and I can rely on her to fight for women.

JanuaryBluehoo · 12/01/2022 20:09

A party who protected women's rights or at least doesn't actually want to pull them apart.

TattyDevine · 12/01/2022 20:11

Conservative.

GiveMyHeadPeaceffs · 12/01/2022 20:12

Alliance. I'm in Northern Ireland so I hope they'd make decent decisions. We generally don't have the option of voting labour or Tory which is a bit shit actually.

Tillsforthrills · 12/01/2022 20:13

I guess you have to go for the lesser of two evils.

Ikona · 12/01/2022 20:14

Labour, they're the only real opposition to the Tories in my constituency.

Tillsforthrills · 12/01/2022 20:15

@Parky04

You’d vote on a despicable party based on no further restrictions for now? After this year and the sheer number of misdemeanours, that’s an insane thought process you have.

Viviennemary · 12/01/2022 20:17

Maybd the independent candidate. Dont like any of the parties at the moment.
