Well, I'm back. Sorry for that bit hard to understand message. I vomited from the pain, had the stabbing stomach pains, thought, "I'll just say goodnight to the thread and lay down," and my goodbye sounds like I was sauced, har har. I tossed and turned for an hour, got maybe 15 minutes of sleep, et voila. Or, "ET WALLAH!" for those of you who are extremely classy.
@avamiah I don't know about gargling salt water. Since I have open sores in my throat, that could ease them some or if it would be like rubbing salt in open wounds.
@teaaandchocolate1 That's terrible, feeling like you can't get a good quality breath. I really hope you can soon.
@Lobster2018 I'm sure you've already heard lots of version of this, but you're a superhero for doing this in the face of what must seem so scary and uncertain (baby in NICU) and I hope very much that your baby is home with you soon.
@FrenchyQ Oh gosh, dental pain can be one of the ones that absolutely the hardest to ignore, so maybe tomorrow night, start out sleeping time by taking a dose of the strongest painkillers you can stomach?
@User2638483 I also hate when I have a really disturbing dream. I've mentioned this before but I turn on the light and try to do something cozy. This usually helps my heart to stop being quite so fast and then eventually I can sleep again (sort of).
@WarriorN That is completely unfair. I know headaches can last that long, but poor you. It's complete shite. I hope it's not COVID too! And I hope it goes away today so you can sleep it off in that sort of "post migraine sleep" that every migraine sufferer knows.
@User2638483 Time to have a conversation with your subconscious. But these dreams where you can't tell waking from sleeping2 My therapist tells me that dreams like this are a result of streesses.
@AthenaJam80 Welcome! Ah yes, 230am is an extremely popular time for bodies to just revolt and wake up. And th And thank you for the book recommendation! Nothing makes the small hours pass qumore quickly.
@tashiewoo I do hope the Rennies helped! There are a lot of pregnant women on this thread sufferenng from everything from gas and burning to early labor. Jujst be kind to yourself, and hopefully the time will start being kind to you as well.
@DwightSchrutesgirlfriend I'm so incredibly sorry. That must have been just gut-wrenchng, and now, so hard not to think about all the time. These kinds of things don't go away, but one day, you find that you're not thinking about them at every single moment, and it still hurts, you're still scared for them, but you can breathe a little more easily (while still worrying for your mum),
@shas19 Ah, congrats on your labor day! I hop eevertryihg goes well, though I understand you may have some fear witH reduced movemnens Hopefully you'll meet your little one soon!
@Crucible Congrats on the newest member o family! It seems unfair to not be able to just enjoy it without also experiencing our chronic pain. I know life isn't fair sometimes, but... that seems really unfair. HOpefully the joy of your pup can outweight the pain for a bit.
@wishingitwasspring I{m so sorry about you being a horribl sleeper. I won't condescend to give you endless advice about what might help, since I'm sure you've tried almost evertying. I'll just hope that you can ahve some moments that feelntr
@PinchofVom Fretting sucks; I[m sorry. It's difficult because youhave some much, especially the fightf ro coverage; I'm so sorry. I hope that you can find at least a little bit of something that takes the edge off.
The sun has risen here now, so good luck on on another day, all!
