Yes it was the Wolverhampton one. Hopefully only a couple more weeks for you to wait now. I know the wait is painful! Good luck.

MummyOfBoys2022 · 12/02/2022 21:08

I had a change of circumstances dated 10th October. As this had passed 17 weeks they passed it onto a decision maker as urgent last Wednesday and phoned today and it's been awarded. Hope this helps x

Amyxkx · 16/02/2022 13:53

I applied for dla and form recieved 23rd November 2020, this morning i have received a lump payment, no award letter as of yet and also no text message saying my little one was awarded, took around the 13/14 week mark to complete! Hope yous get answers soon

funinthesun19 · 17/02/2022 10:01

My son’s DLA renewal has finally been sorted.
He’s been awarded care middle rate which was what he was getting before and has also now been awarded mobility lower rate which he didn’t get in his previous claim.
Massive weight has been lifted now. Smile

Lionessfor2 · 18/02/2022 08:17

Hi there, first time I’ve ever posted on mumsnet 😊so I’m confused…seems to be a lot of mixed messages coming from DLA helpline. I sent my sons first claim off in November, received 26.11.21, scanned on 27.11.21. I rang last Friday to be told it was with a decision maker and to ring this week, I rang yesterday to be told it’s in a pile of other forms with a named person but at the moment they’re dealing with claims up to the 19th November! So I was advised not to call back, I’m 6/7 days behind. This wait is driving me slightly nuts!

X2Kids · 19/02/2022 23:10

My DC DLA claim received on 23rd November 2021. Received a payment this week but no letter so rang DLA. Decision made and high care low mobility awarded. Revived the award letter on Friday.

Sjf1398 · 21/02/2022 11:27

Anyone had any positive news?🙂

Lovechocolate12 · 21/02/2022 12:54

J84b04j23 · 21/02/2022 14:47

My change of mobility was received 22nd Oct , rang today and they said they are working on 21st October , so mine will be next week🙄 I'm not holding out 😂🙈

MummyOfBoys2022 · 21/02/2022 16:40

@Lovechocolate12 did you get your decision by text?

Lovechocolate12 · 21/02/2022 16:54

No they put it through Friday no text I just phoned today for an update and I had a lovley man on phone and he told me first time applying so I'm massively grateful my little boy is only 3.

PuddlePip · 21/02/2022 17:05

Just phoned for an update on my sons change of circumstances form.

They received it 25th October and the lady (who was so lovely) said it should be picked out of the pile next week and it'll take another week to process from then so she said another 2 weeks wait. We're 17 weeks today for reference.

MummyOfBoys2022 · 21/02/2022 17:13

@Lovechocolate12 it's my first time applying, my application was received 13th December but I've only called once a while back but the person I got didn't really say anything

Lovechocolate12 · 21/02/2022 17:18

I was lucky as when I have rang before I ain't had much help and that's just to give updates about nursery , if mine was 9th and was looked at on Friday and yours is 13th I think this week for you hope you get good news if you havnt heard by Friday just give them a call and ask for any updates .

MummyOfBoys2022 · 21/02/2022 17:23

@Lovechocolate12 thank you so much

Welshmam2005 · 25/02/2022 11:14

LizzieLoulabell · 26/02/2022 11:41

daisybrown37 · 26/02/2022 12:00

@LizzieLoulabell

Just had a text my son qualifies for DLA first letter dated the 10th December
Glad to hear you got a response.

I have another 3/4 weeks to wait I think (form received 5th January)

Flexitarian · 26/02/2022 12:02

I was told they wanted to clear claims for the week of Dec 7 by the end of this week, but haven’t heard anything yet.

My claim was stamped on November 8 😫
