Dla waiting times

hi! New to this all but I started a new claim for my daughter and it was received and stamped on 30th October, reaching 9 weeks and no response as of yet, any ideas of the waiting time ?

Thanks everyone I'm so happy I didn't think we would get it and the wait for horrendous. Xx fingers crossed for those who are still waiting

@Lexy180 they received my claim on 5th Nov and was just awarded today . X

Liveandlove they got mine 16th of October but have not heard anything yet

@Lexy180 I'd give them a phone, your child's application 100percent should have been looked at by now xxx

Just spoke to them, and she said I should have a decision by next week! This week they are dealing with all applications recieved up to the the 15th, next week is up to the 19th so she said by next Friday I should know. Xxx

Wow I would definitely be giving them a call hun see what is going on that's over a month before mine . Xx

Does anyone know how long it's with a decision maker for, and what the process is once with them?.

@Mumof406 mine was with DM a couple of hours he rang me on the Saturday said he was looking at and then the text came through couple of hours later. Good luck everyone Saturday seems to be a day of decisions from what I’ve seen/heard and mine was a Saturday xxx

Thankyou all, fingers crossed I'll hear something soon, well done to all those who have heard and got the help they need for your children.

Dd's renewal was received by DLA on 15th November I never got a text from them just a letter. Her award ran out last week and when my husband called up last week they said it had not been looked at. Wouldn't tell him anything else. Gonna get him to call again on Tuesday if her payment don't arrive.

Anyone else having problems getting through today ??

Hi first time claiming for my son,application received on 11th nov anyone had a decision from this date:)

@Sheryl1234 mine was received the same date, still waiting.

I rang them this morning and there working on the 16th of November onward

I finally got through went through security and it went dead again I give up haha

Hopefully hear soon a absolutely hate phoning them always make e feel like you shouldn’t be phoning 😳

I got through, mines still with the decision maker,can take anything from 1-4 weeks once with them depending on the evidence and who they need to get in touch with. Good luck everyone waiting to hear.
