Same as the last 33 years - nothing, not even a card. But I don't get him anything either. It's just what we do (or don't do). We don't do birthdays either. No problems with it but some people do think it's a bit strange.

Nothing. He dislikes people celebrating Christmas or birthdays so engineers a row so he can opt out.

A dressing gown/blanket thing I asked for, 3 recipe books (one signed with a personal message by the author who I love), some little cups which were meant to be a big cup of pointed out that I liked.

Well after 30 years together, neither of us are depressed at receiving nothing. We understand each other. Same with birthdays, if i want something, i buy it.
