A candle, chocolate, bath salts, skincare bits and bobs, recipe box, keepsake box and a painting he did with DD.

All of it much appreciated whilst pregnant, especially the thoughtful painting.

Nothing, we didn't do gifts this year. It was amazing not having to spend the extra although I did feel bad for him on the day as he didn't have anything really to open but I had stuff from friends.

I'm going to make it up to him on his birthday.

Bortles · 27/12/2021 01:49

A shoulder massager, cards against humanity and... Something else I cant remember!!! He got a jumper, some star wars bits and a bag.

Idontbelieveit14 · 27/12/2021 01:51

We decided to just do stockings for each other this year. I got perfume, Charlotte Tilbury make up set, my fave Molton brown shower gel, a necklace I've wanted for a while, a couple of books, my favourite chocolates, a photography sphere lens and some crypto currency To me, any one of those is a main present! Stocking fillers are things like a chocolate orange!

Nothing. We’ve never bought each other a Christmas present. Absolutely no point. Avoids the disappointment of receiving shite I felt really sad reading that, I love giving presents to my loved ones! Also confused as to why you'd buy each other "shite" presents? My partner knows me and knows what I like and vice versa, neither of us have been disappointed, ever.

My partner got me my favourite perfume, a book I'd forgotten I'd mentioned to him months ago and some chocolates from the children. I feel incredibly privileged!

A kindle paperwhite, because I sat on my old one and broke it. Plus a Lush gift set and some fatface slippers from the kids. I'm v pleased.

LuvMyBoyz · 27/12/2021 03:22

We treated ourselves to a meal together at a Michelin starred restaurant just before Christmas. This is what we do for birthdays and Christmas.

EllaVaNight · 27/12/2021 03:29

the boy did good... Ugh I thought this thread might just escape this phrase. Who are all these women going out with boys?! Honestly though it sounds like a mother speaking about her son's achievements. Grown adults should be able to listen to and know their partners well enough to give them something they like. We need to stop setting the bar in the gutter for men.

Completely spoilt this year, 3 items of jewellery, perfume and a voucher for a day doing something I wanted to do x

iloveayankeecandle · 27/12/2021 06:30

Pyjamas and pants from Amazon. I didn't even realise you could get pants and pyjamas from
Amazon. Just FYI, I only wanted some from asda or sainsburys, nothing expensive. So instead I've ended up with over priced crap from Amazon as it was free delivery!

autieok · 27/12/2021 06:31

A woolly hat, a photo frame and a book. All specific ones that were on my list. No surprises, but I'm.ok with that.

LunaMuffinTop · 27/12/2021 10:09

A hooded stitch blanket, stitch slipper socks, five finger Death Punch t-shirt (a band that I really like) and a white Toblerone.
