Daily Fail and Duchess of Sussex

Just saw this half way down the home page of the Daily Mail. Clearly it’s a part of the settlement agreed after Meghan’s success in the courts.

This isn’t a thread about Meghan, it’s more the Daily Mail trying to hide this in their homepage and so trying to bring attention to it!

Seriously, if we are going to compare, what has Catherine done in comparison? Tiddly squat. I am not going to now write a hugely vitriolic post on her appearance, her marriage, anything she does, her husband and children (like posters do about MM) but really.... seriously.....bfrom a massively influential position, Kate does little.

Yeah clearly MM is an ambitious and driven woman and tbh she is beautiful and has used her “white privilege”/bring mixed race with white to her advantage- tbh I would probably do the same.

People hate her because in their minds she spent her whole existence trying to marry a wealthy man (like Kate) when in reality as @rubicscubicle explained she did a lot before she even met Harry. And so what if she wanted to marry a wealthy man when she has self-made wealth (unlike Kate)

We see lots of threads on here about how to bag a rich guy from people who just want a rich guy, not necessarily a self-made. People just don’t like that she doesn’t fit the bill of who they believe should marry such men (English rose)

Your list of her achievements is admirable and there's no question that she had achieved a lot before meeting Harry. It is more someone's personal qualities though that make them likeable or not. I admire many altruistic and philanthropic men and women but don't know enough about them to necessarily like them. All I've seen/heard of Meghan has been filtered/twisted by the media so I tend not to believe a word of it. However, she is obviously a very loving mother which counts for a lot in my eyes. Have I seen enough of the real Meghan to like/dislike her? No.

It’s weird. We don’t know either of them. On the bits we know, I don’t think there’s anything to dislike about either of them.

It’s like the threads on here where people say they hate various celebrities, people don’t seem to realise that they don’t actually know these people in most cases.

People like to have villains. And they like to be nasty about others. It’s all very unpleasant.

So now Ghislaine Maxwell has been found guilty I wonder if any threads featuring Andrew will reach 10 pages? Probably not seeing as he’s been accused of committing the much lesser crime of sex trafficking minors which is way less than anything Megan’s apparently done.

I mean, not wearing tights and touching your bump. Waaay worse. Who would you rather leave your DD with, no brainer right? The woman who stole the worlds most eligible bachelor or Epsteins best mate? Clearly the latter.

Andrew’s people must looooove Megan. She’s so famous that every time she opens her mouth, his stuff gets instantly forgotten about or minimised.
