to ask how much wine you’d buy in this situation

NB - this is a LIGHTHEARTED thread

DH went to do the Christmas food shop today. I told him what I needed for the pudding and said ‘can you get a fair bit of wine as I want a drink tonight, tomorrow and we need for Christmas Day’.

On CD we’re having PIL. So 4 adults. FIL will have one glass of bubbles. MIL, DH and I all drink but not to excess.

I like a drink but don’t drink masses or that but I do like it and DH drinks rarely.

Given this information how much sparkling wine would you buy?

As reminder sparkling wine for:

Me tonight
Me tomorrow
4 adults on CD

Once I’ve had a few answers I’ll divulge how many DH bought.

Ok yes, several accusations of alcoholism but I’m ok with that.

Currently on the coffee as I’m too tired to start the booze.

There are 4 bottles of fizz in the fridge, two red breathing, rum and gin available plus Elderflower presse and Appletize.

I would have gotten 3 or 4 bottles 😳 1 for the first 2 nights, with leftovers for Christmas Day, and 2-3 to share Christmas Day
