Boris. Would everyone love him if he was not blonde?

Looking at our current PM, it occurred to me that he might not be so appealing to us if he had dark hair? Would he be viewed as a possible case of self neglect requiring assistance rather than the bouncy Labrador he is seen as?

I can't stand him, never could. He is a habitual liar, a philanderer, lazy and selfish. I would be of the same opinion whatever sort of hair he had.

When I look at Boris I think lots of things. Bouncy Labrador however is NOT one of them.

But there is no one I hate more in the world. I generally don't hate anyone, I absolutely loathe him. Apart from his shit policies and sheer incompetence, the man cant even bring himself to look or act half respectable on the world stage.

I think I know what you mean. For those that do like him, he's seen as a loveable cad, and part of that is his slightly unkempt but conventionally attractive appearance. Blonde white men are seen as more attractive than others.

Personally I think he's a twat.

I agree OP. It's more interesting than the average male hairstyle so it draws attention. He gets noticed. People remember him. All useful attributes for a politician. I have a couple of friends who also use natural features or artifical ones to the same effect.

I think expectations of blond people are subconciously different due to the association with childhood and innocence. I seem to recall studies where people have picked photos of blonds when asked who looks like the most fun. The image Johnson has cultivated sits well with this, less serious, a laugh, harmless, charmingly naive and trustworthy. All nonsense of course but yes OP, I think his hair colour helps him by triggering subconscious associations for some.

He was before his pre high profile politician days. I admit that I used to find it funny when he was on have I got news for you. I knew he wasn’t stupid but somehow the clown thing was funny.

I agree image is everything with Johnson. He's worked the blond hair until it's an intrinsic part of his 'Boris' character. But I think if he hadn't had blond hair he would have found another way to present the character. His drive for power, which he is so ill-suited to, is overwhelming.

I own a bouncy labrador, he is an idiot most of the time, but a dog and I can forgive him his mistakes. Boris is supposedly a well educated man, which makes his actions even more disgusting. I loath him with a passion, whatever his hair colour! He is a cheat and a liar in all aspects of his life, I don't trust him or our press at the moment.
