For those of you who still have grandparents alive! How old are you?

Or how old were you when they passed?

I was 16 when my granparents from mom’s side died.

And somewhere in my 20’s when from dad’s side passed.
Although we weren’t in touch at all, not sure why.

I don’t know why I ask, I guess I just realised that I wasn’t around older generation much.

Lost my last grandparent at 29

Her eldest grand'child' was about 58 at that point though!

I'm 36 and still have one of my grandparents.

Forgot to add I’m 38

I lost my last grandparent, my grandma. When I was 46

I'm nearly 39 and my grandma is 96, she is essentially the only grandparent I've had a relationship with so I'm grateful to have her still!

Lost my last one age 43 (lost my first grandparent aged 27). Had 4 great grandparents which I lost between ages 8 -23.

Never met two of them, and the last died when I was 6 😢

I'm 45. All my grandparents were born in the 1890s and are long gone now.

My grandparents died when I was 1, 8, 15 and 38. Dh still had all 4 alive when he was 23 and has 1 left now aged 43.

Mums parents. My Grandad died when I was 2. his wife, my Granny is still alive and has just turned 100. I’m 43. My Dad’s parents both passed away within months of each other when was 35

I’m 46 and my grandpa is 101. My other grandparents died when I was in my twenties.

I'm 44 and have 2 GPs left 95 and 97. They're amazing and I know how lucky I am!

I'm 38 and have 3 out of 4 of my grandparents around still.

My last grandparent died in October there, I was 30 and she was 79. I miss her so much

45 here with one remaining Grandparent.

I lost my last grandparent, my dad's mum, when I was 31 and she was 96. The really sad part is that she outlived her two sons, and her daughter died a couple of months after her. I do wish she could have lived to meet my son, who was born the year after she died.

I’m 46 and have two Grandparents still here. They are 96 and 98!

My dad’s parents died when I was 19.
My mother’s parents are both still alive. I’m 39

My husband is 45 and has one grandparent left.

Both my maternal GP died before I was born. One paternal died when I was 7 and the other when I was 14 ☹️

My dad was the youngest of 5, with oldest 3 a lot older than him.
His mam died a few months before I was born. His dad died when I was 10. Grandad was 81.
Mam's mam.died when I was 9 & her dad when I was 11. They were in their 70s.
We recently lost my dad at 85. Mam is also 85 & has 10 great grandchildren & 2 great great grandchildren.
I'm 54 now & a great grandma.

41 and 42 respectively when my Grandmothers died. Both were in their late 90s. I was 18 I think when I lost my last great grandmother.

I'm 36 and still have two (and my grandad died two days ago so up to 36 I had 3!)

My grandad died when I was 25.

One granny is 92
One is 87

Pretty blessed with that really :)

I'm 39 this year. Just lost my 95 year old Nan at the start of this year. One grandparent left in her late 80s

Sadly grandma died last year when she was 109. Mum and I are still going strong though..

Age 37.
Lost paternal grandmother when I was 23.
Others still alive and are mid eighties.
