I feel sorry for her.
She was monumentally stupid to say what she did in front of cameras...but it was clearly a casual, unscripted part of a conversation between colleagues. Never intended for the public view. When I think of some unofficial, private conversation that take place in my workplace...sheesh. Half the payroll would be out the door if publicised due to bringing the company into bad light.
So she laughed...christ, she's human. I've chortled at unsavoury jokes before, most people have.
She didn't plan the party, she didn't attend the party, she didn't dance around granny's grave laughing manically at some people's misfortune.
She just didn't have a sombre enough tone and manner to satisfy the frothing public.
I can't say I particularly like her...her haughty manner makes me grit my teeth. But yeah, I do feel sorry for her.
