To want to ‘cancel’ Paul Hollywood?!

I am just absolutely just so angry with Paul Hollywood. The way he as a man thinks he knows better then Prue. The way he ‘lords’ it over others. The bullying handshake. Just his tactics. I don’t like him on television. I don’t think a lot of people do. He flirts like a lech with the younger female competitors in GBBO.

I just don’t think people like him should be on our televisions anymore. He a bit of a Jim Davidson.

I don't even like to give him enough thought to come up with words to adequately describe him. Just brrrrrrr

I think Mary is a bit of a Handmaid and probably things (wrt Paul's shenanigans) that boys will be boys.

I suspect Prue would never be described as such.

I've really warmed to the current line up on GBBO. I like Mary Berry, but love Prue - she copes perfectly well with Paul who just takes the mickey out of himself these days with Noel and Matt's help. Their humour is well-placed on Channel 4, just not to everyone's taste.

I’d much prefer John Whaite instead of Paul Hollywood. I agree PH seems like some dodgy 80s throwback man. Who else could be good?

I find him less annoying than I used to. I think that may be because Noel and Matt are even more annoying though. I do think they're both quite funny and sweet when they just talk to the bakers naturally, but the scripted stuff and all the 'jokes' and music skits are self-indulgent and need to go.
I miss Mel and Sue. No one has been better.

I don't like him at all, he seems like one of those men, who just thinks that he is fanciable to all women,, this is perhaps because he has been stated, as being a silver fox charmer by so many.. I find him quite cringey, and uninteresting, but don't watch the baking programme any more, as their are too many not need people presenting, who just hang around..

Paul Hollywood, should go on one of those programmes, like I'm a celebrity, get me out of here, or better still, the one with Ant Middleton, the SAS one, and then he can get rough and dirty, to see if he is a real man, instead of a polished cake eating plastic man.

Really dislike Noel and Matt as presenters, they're way too full of themselves and desperately trying to be funny. It's just all too much!

Paul is just Paul. He's always been like this, even with Mary.

I watch it for the contestants and the baking lessons!

I recently saw an old episode of GBBO with Mel and Sue. They were so good, I miss them too @IntermittentParps

Noel and Matt need to go- self-indulgent, very amused by themselves and not funny. Paul needs to rein in the pathetic flirting- it is so dated.

I have the Food Network channel on in background and Mr Hollywood is cooking with Mary Berry, from Xmas 2013 I believe.

He's rolling pastry and I do wish he'd take his loose Rolex off.

I think the trouble with these long running shows is that they keep having to find a new 'hook' to keep things fresh, and this applies to the people in it too.

I was quite happy with PH's bread making and his recipes are good. But they keep having to find new 'aspects' of him to sell it. The handshake thing was cringey and it has got worse since then.

I think Mel, Sue and Mary, quite rightly, quit while they were ahead. I watched for a bit when it moved to Ch4 but don't bother now.

I'm sure I saw Stan Boardman attending his funeral in the Daily Mirror.

He didn't have to leave the show when the photos of him in a Nazi 'costume' came out so I doubt they'll replace him just for being a bit of a knob.

I kind of enjoy the fact that he's ridiculous and awful and sleazy and has beautiful eyes.. It's good to have a villain..

I like him. He was a bit of an arse in the earlier shows, but he’s mellowed. That or the standard of bakes is much better. Not a fan of Matt but he had big shoes to fill so he’s doing a decent job.

If PHwas a cake he’d eat himself.
Outdated, smug, and unpleasant.
Also agree with PP’s that Noel and Matt are dragging it down.
Complete overhaul needed for GBBO.
