To want to ‘cancel’ Paul Hollywood?!

I am just absolutely just so angry with Paul Hollywood. The way he as a man thinks he knows better then Prue. The way he ‘lords’ it over others. The bullying handshake. Just his tactics. I don’t like him on television. I don’t think a lot of people do. He flirts like a lech with the younger female competitors in GBBO.

I just don’t think people like him should be on our televisions anymore. He a bit of a Jim Davidson.

Same, their "jokes" make no sense, it's like they exist to annoy the contestants.

I think that PH was very patronising to Mary Berry, but Prue is a harder nut to crack.

I think he is well past his sell by date and should have gone several years ago. Noel Fielding and Sandi Toksvig were a reasonable pairing. Noel Fielding and Matt Lucas are simply cringe worthy and embarrassing.

Time for a revamp of the whole thing.

I agree with that. Mary was very polite to him and Prue more often looks daggers.

I can't imagine why anyone would think Paul knows more than Prue.

What did it for me with Paul was a story a few years back. There were some nasty claims that Ruby Tandoh had been flirting with Paul (or more) to win. Tandoh subsequently came out as a lesbian and pointed out, fairly much in passing, how daft this made those rumours seem. And Paul's response was really rude! It was on twitter, and instead of a normal 'yes, wasn't it absurd' he got all huffy about it.

I don't like him at all, he seems like one of those men, who just thinks that he is fanciable to all women,, this is perhaps because he has been stated, as being a silver fox charmer by so many.. I find him quite cringey, and uninteresting, but don't watch the baking programme any more, as their are too many not need people presenting, who just hang around..

Paul Hollywood, should go on one of those programmes, like I'm a celebrity, get me out of here, or better still, the one with Ant Middleton, the SAS one, and then he can get rough and dirty, to see if he is a real man, instead of a polished cake eating plastic man.

He's very annoying. Prue is worse though. Bake Off really isn't the same any more - I miss Mary, Mel and Sue so much.

It is fairly apparent that the contestants looked a bit bothered by the presenters this season. Think the challenges have been better & the standards high, they look like they just want to get on with baking.

I find Prue a bit annoying too tbh. I watched a doc last year which featured her daughter visiting Cambodia to see if she could find her birth parents, and Prue made it all about her and how it made her feel. Clearly a loving mother but just came across as being a self-centred.

I'm not a Paul Hollywood fan and dont watch the baking show but vote YABU because the whole cancel culture is getting ridiculous. Be thankful at least it's C4 and you're not paying for him via the BBC licence fee.

but no one really gets cancelled these days there's just a lot of talk about it. Sinead O'Connor got properly cancelled by America when she ripped up the photo of the Pope in the 90s, but these days 'cancelling' seems to involve someone grumbling a bit about someone on Twitter and then a week later it's forgotten.

I don't have much time for him, and I find The Handshake particularly naff especially when he refers to it as if it's something he has no control over, but all this 'cancelling' shite has got to stop.

Paul spoils it for me and Matt is just not funny! Noel can be but needs a different side kick to bring it out of him. I love Prue. We need someone else to judge with Prue.

I can't stand Matt but I like Noel, his relationship with Lizzie this year was lovely.

He's what I describe as a nob! He thinks he's a baking George Clooney! I really like Pru and have not missed Mary berry at all. I do miss Mel and Sue though.
