I am team chiggs all the way but feel like they will give it to crystelle. I think he has had a fantastic year and sort of deserves it more. I know that might be wrong to say.

What are your thoughts

Jurgen was robbed. I'm annoyed they didn't bend the rules and have all four in the final. Smacks of a production decision because the others are more marketable / media friendly.

I felt this way too - Jurgen definitely should be in the final!

I'd love Crystelle to win now but I wouldn't mind Chiggs either. Giuseppe would be my least favourite but to be honest he'd be a worthy winner too, so it could be any of them for me. Wish they'd kept Jurgen in and had a 4 person final!

It’s the over exaggerated “oh I’m so rubbish” shocked expressions that annoy me. Her sex has nothing to do with it, I really liked Candice and Nadia previously as well as plenty female contestants
That’s one of the reasons I loved Jurgen - he was quietly confident.

Crystelle seems genuine and like a good laugh to me, I'd be happy to hang out with her. Some comments here seem a bit anti-women which is frustrating.

Why should we support someone simply because they are female? To me Crystelle is very annoying and comes across as fake, I can’t ignore that just because she’s female.

Loved that he was just there for the baking.

She's been the same every week, seems authentic enough to me - and she just happens to be beautiful which is very irrelevant to her baking. Whatever happened to supporting other women?

Paul literally said her showstopper was flawless and her signature exceptional last night... Her place in the final is hardly un-deserved!

The reason I'm not keen on crystelle is she uses the same ingredients all the time and dosent want to try anything new. Chigs and guiseppe have stepped out of there comfort zone on more then one occasion but all she wants to do is add mizo.

Also she comes across as a bit of a know it all and I don't like people with that personality. That's why I'm not keen on her.

Nearly every comment about Giuseppe, Jurgen and chiggs on here is about the quality of their baking, and nearly every comment about crystelle is about her being annoying, or how Paul's in love with her cus she's good looking.

How depressing

Was just trying to formulate a comment to say this but you've done it perfectly.

It's fine not to want anyone to win, but sad that we're still seeing women through a different lens to men.

I think Jürgen should take solace in Pru saying she would have given him a handshake, though I don't know why she didn't. Paul shouldn't have the monopoly on giving them and to have received one from Pru would have shown Paul that it's a joint decision, not solely down to him, which it appears to be at the moment.

I love them all! I was so torn last night, wanted them all to stay and I know next week I'll be wanting them all to win.

I think some people are forgetting that this is all filmed and the winner decided way before the first episode even goes out, so the whole thing is edited to provide the narrative they want. I suspect that we have been deliberately shown all the best bits of Jurgen up to now to make it seem more of a shock now he’s gone. They’ve done this in previous years too, the eventual winner isn’t shown so much in earlier episodes so it’s not so obvious who might win.

It would be much more interesting if it was live, so you could see everything that was said not just the edited highlights (I know this wouldn’t work given the time allowed for the baking though!)

I also do not believe that the technicals are really judged blind. The camera shows peoples’ reactions as P&P are commenting, so I’m sure they can tell whose bake is whose from looking at the bakers. Whether that influences their judging - you would hope not but who knows?

Centrepieces made out of rice crispiest and marshmallows is not proper baking imo. Jurgen constructed something made out of 40 baked biscuits and managed to get them to hold. He should win for that alone - everyone else went for an easier option.

Pru should absolutely have felt able to give Jurgen a handshake if she wanted to instead of just talking about it. Unfair.

I agree Jurgen was robbed. Rice Krispies moulded into models isn't baking - I first saw that done on the children's version of Bake Off and thought it was a great idea for 10-year-olds.

I expected Crystelle and Guiseppe to have been severely marked down for making such simplistic centrepieces, when compared to Jurgen's amazing 40-biscuit creation.

I also thought Crystelle should have gone rather than Lizzie. I am not a fan of hers at all.

Don't really mind between Chiggs and Guiseppe.

I would have liked Crystelle to go and Jurgen remain.

I wanted all four to go through to the final, they were all amazing and I wouldn't even know where to start on most of those challenges. Any of the final three will be a deserved winner. Looking forward to An Extra Slice however and seeing JurgenPops again.

I started out finding Crystelle annoying but have warmed to her. She has definitely upped her game, we had thought she would be out last night. I would bet she went to private school as she has that kind of confidence (despite the shock at winning), and it's interesting that a confident and obviously attractive woman attracts such derision from other women on here.

Because her fake shock dramatics are annoying as was her squealing down the phone last night when she got star baker! I don't care that she's confident and attractive !

I like Crystelle. Some of her showstoppers have been stunning and I just enjoy watching her bake (and have a long-running semi-meltdown each week). I'd be happy for any of them to win though, they all seem brilliant to me.

Why can't we dislike other women without being accused of being jealous?! She's downright annoying with her dramatic dropping to the floor when she is praised and fake shock on her face when she knows how good she is.

Personally I think lizzie should of been put through last week instead of Crystelle. Jurgen going was a major shock, but I think it's made it easier for me to want Chigs to win.

But given Lizzy's problems with "finesse" she would probably have had an absolute nightmare in patisserie week.
