Who will win Bake off!!!

I am team chiggs all the way but feel like they will give it to crystelle. I think he has had a fantastic year and sort of deserves it more. I know that might be wrong to say.

What are your thoughts

Lizzie was very talented. She got a lot of compliments from the judges. Some of them you wish you could see on tv more in something else like happened with Nadiya and Liam from previous series.

We were all gutted that Jurgen left. I think any of the other three could win it but I'd prefer Chiggs or Giuseppe.

Now I want Chigs to win, but would be ok with Giuseppe either.

Giuseppe or Chigs. I cannot bear the egotistical Paul Hollywood handshake, and it was awful to leave Jürgen out of this.

Women have to do the fake modesty, else they get accused of being arrogant. It’s a lifetime of socialisation. Chrystelle is good. They all are.

I like Chigs he has shown improvement over the weeks but I think Guiseppe should win.
All three of them are marketable and perhaps as others have said in the end that's what this is all about - not baking skills... If it is skill though it should have been Jurgen or Guiseppe.

I was just saying to dh how much I had enjoyed this series and how nice it was to see an unassuming older man do so well, then they were really mean to him and now I don't care about it any more.

Crystelle and her amateur dramatics drive us mad. The week she won star baker and just kept on and on saying “I just can’t believe it” or something. Jurgen was consistently good, and seems such a proper decent person who just loves baking!

Juergen was my absolute favourite - such a talented baker and he came across as being a lovely man.
Paul Hollywood was a total prick giving 3 handshakes and leaving Jurgen out!
I don’t care who wins now - they all seem nice enough, but Jurgen was totally robbed.

I loved Jurgen and wanted him to win from week 1 but I think purely based on last night it was the right decision.
Crystelle is bloody annoying with the dramatic “oh I’m so awful I’m going home” followed by the faux shocked face when she doesn’t. I don’t think Noel actually likes her as he makes little digs.
I find Giuseppe a bit cold and smug and when someone (can’t remember who) had a disaster Chiggs rushed over to help while he walked away saying he couldn’t watch so for me I would love Chiggs to win

So shocked that Jurgen went last night, it really should have been Guiseppe. The winner will be whoever is the best fit for the book market.

I think it was the police lady. I have forgotten her name though 😂😂

I’d like to see Chigs win it. We were gutted that Jurgen went out last night too.

Crystelle reminds me of one of those people in school who would say “oh I’m soooo bad at maths I haven’t revised for this test at all”, then act shocked when they got an A*.

Chigs really does seem like such a lovely, genuine person. Always the first to say Well Done, and ready to give a helping hand it needed.

I am confidently expecting whoever wins to be competing in next year's Strictly.

I'd love to see Chigs win, he's improved so much for a complete amateur and seems such a nice guy (and very easy on the eye!)

Guiseppe is good as is Crystelle but my god she's annoying with the open mouthed gasps when she gets through, fake 'I'm so rubbish' and every bake being dedicated to some dead relative - we sit there shouting 'it's not the bloody X Factor'.

Paul is getting embarrassing with the handshakes, he actually spoke about people getting x number of handshakes and x Star Bakers last night as though they really mean something, arrogant dick. Prue is much more knowledgeable and a kinder judge, he's just interested in whichever young pretty woman baker they line up for him each season, I find it really off-putting.

Chigs technical was awful, an absolute mess and I think on a week where there wasn't much to pick between the other parts it should have been the deciding factor.

Jurgen was robbed.
He was consistently so good throughout the show. Which shows what a great baker he is.
But the show's producers will love this controversy as it garnets more publicity which will bring more advertising and therefore more money for C4 via the show.

Gutted that Jurgen left but none of them should have gone. I think they should have all gone though as they all deserved to be in the final.

Been a really good year

Can't believe Jurgen has gone. I know they do all this 'it's marked on the day' stuff but I do think some consideration should be given to the overall performance throughout the competition when it comes to the final. Like a PP I think they should have had all four of them in the final. I actually like all four of the people who were in it last night, but at least two of those who got through are a bit inconsistent.
But they always try to have a shock exit in these things. (I am fully expecting John/Johannes to go out in the semi of Strictly in favour of Rhys.)

I think this is my last year for Bake Off. My DD has already given up on it. Can't abide PH and some of the challenges and technicals have got ridiculous. It seems they are setting people up to fail, and that they want disasters - I want to see good baking and people able to do their best, not impossible task in unrealistic time frames.

I think she's really good; remember the bouquet of flowers bake she did really early? Amazing!

Shame for Juergen. There were weeks when he probably should have won Star Baker, too, but he seemed to miss out so they could spread it around a bit.

I think Guiseppe should win now.
