Roasted with olive oil, salt and pepper for 10-15 mins on high

It’s freaking amazing and I never knew little trees could taste this good!

MorganKitten · 12/11/2021 19:52

That’s how I always cook it, cauliflower too.

DroopyClematis · 12/11/2021 20:10

Just wanted to say that, on the back of this thread, I roasted some broccoli this evening.

Absolutely gorgeous.

Thank you MNetters!

@Barney60

Curried cauli is AMAZING!
Fact.

We just had some tonight with Spice Tailor’s Keralan Coconut Curry.

Ddot · 12/11/2021 20:43

Roast beetroot is yummy too

TheFormidableMrsC · 12/11/2021 20:57

I do this. Also with cauliflower. Delicious!

SunscreenCentral · 12/11/2021 20:57

yabu and we've been doing that along with suggestions since initial post because we like good food here

MrsAvocet · 12/11/2021 21:06

I'd never tried roasting it before but gave it a go tonight. I quite liked it but one DS raised an eyebrow and asked "Why are we eating incinerated broccoli? " and the other added "it tastes a bit like gravel" so maybe I didn't get it quite right. (It was only a bit brown, and I'd say crunchy rather than gravelly. Not that I've ever eaten gravel...)

TatianaBis · 12/11/2021 21:10

Only a bit brown 😂

madmumofteens · 12/11/2021 21:23

Sounds lush OP hey little trees description made me lol used to say this to kids along with Brussels sprouts were called baby cabbages 😋

Blueink · 13/11/2021 01:40

Gave it a go, too fancy and a bit meh (if you actually like the flavour of broccoli). Not wrong, just different.

Ostagazuzulum · 13/11/2021 07:45

Ooo might try this instead of mashing it

Dibbydoos · 13/11/2021 07:58

My son made the most amazing broccoli last night - olive oil, crushed garlic, roasted in parchment for 30minutes at 180oC.

But I also like it steamed....!

coodawoodashooda · 13/11/2021 09:00

I've not managed to read all of the posts but can anyone give me air fryer cauli steak tips? What do you accompany it with? Any sauce recommendations?

Pbbananabagel · 13/11/2021 10:39

@DroopyClematis yes!

I thought you hated it because it gets stuck in your DH teeth and it stinks. Please stop the broccoli madness
