Has anyone else been watching the snag tights/applicant for social media position debacle? I have no involvement in this but have been watching from the sidelines in utter bafflement and now I don’t know if I’m missing something or if this person is truly reaching in order to take offence

So snag tights were recruiting. This person applied, was asked to do a video interview, said yes and was then not interviewed and when snag came back they said all positions were filled, they’d missed her reply and were but would be back in touch when recruiting again. This person believes it was because snag had looked at their social media and decided they no longer wanted to interview them.

This has erupted on both sides with this person posting on multiple social media sites and snag owner Brie seeming to apologise over and over. Admit a mistake was made and that steps were being put in place to resolve moving forward.

That’s it in a tiny nutshell but there’s so much more now including accusations of doxxing.

Is anyone else been reading? AIBU to think the applicant has taken it too far now and needs to move on?

All so dramatic. And don't get me started on weird looking overweight men in make up and tights. I find it pretty repulsive but then, I'm delighted not to be their target market

I like snag tights. Don’t like their marketing. Far too over the top for me. I’ve hidden the beard man one on Facebook. He was on there all the time.

She’s quite something - took the first response from Snag as being ‘ you are perfect for us, you’ve got the job bar a few formalities ‘ then got obsessively furious because she didn’t get a response according to her timescale. And spending $800 on tights over the past couple of years should have been the clincher, apparently.

She also spent 10 mins crying on her stories yesterday wailing "I just want it to be over, I'm so tired", then she's recording lives on multiple platforms!

I think a restraining order should be considered. This hideous woman is clearly a nutter and seemingly incapable of posting anything without her tits out

God, she really thinks she's more known and popular than she actually is, doesn't she? She had a couple of hundred followers when I looked at her Twitter a couple of hours ago. She makes me physically uncomfortable with her level of self importance. The way she thinks of herself as so beautiful/hot/important/relevant and anyone who doesn't agree is some kind of bigot is alarming. There is not one thing that is attractive about her, and I'm in no way speaking about physical attributes. People like her are very dangerous.

Fuck me, the modern world is baffling.

Personally I think Snag tights have an appalling general advertising campaign (from what I see popping up unwanted on my FB) - nothing I've seen makes me want to buy them.

@Waspsarearseholes yes I know men wear tights. I know a postman that wears them.

It doesn't bother me but I don't see the need to advertise tights which, let' be honest, are mainly worn by women, by having a half naked man wearing them.

I also don't see why the women have to be half naked. I have no objection to their size or colour. I am not a size 10 myself and I guess they are showing that their tights are good for larger women. They can show that with women wearing dresses or skirts can't they? Also some of the poses of the models I find very tack and, again, not necessary in order to sell tights. Sexy underwear yes but not tights. Tights never have been and never will be sexy.

I am not trying to make any point. I have not worn tights for at least 20 years as I hate them, so uncomfortable, never fit properly, fall down etc.

I have mainly lived in trousers but on the odd occasion I wear a dress it is in the summer with bare legs. I quite fancy getting a dress suitable for the winter and will, obviously, have to wear tights with it unless I fancy going for the blue with cold look.

I had read on a thread about tights that the Snag ones don't fall down, fit well etc so thought I might try them and looked at their website.

Snag tights are amazing! I’ve bought them for a few years now and as a size 20 they have genuinely changed my life. Before I could only buy tights from one shop in only black , that only just fit, had to be held up with a pair of knickers over the top, cost a fortune and laddered instantly. Snag tights are affordable, good quality, in every colour and fucking fit! And they go as small as big (my 9 year old wears the smallest size) .

Please don’t let their increasing “diverse and inclusive” marketing put you off. They are genuinely great.

That Twitter feed is fucking grim. And yes, I recruit, and yes I check social media and there is no way in this earth I would hire someone to work as a social media person when they are putting things like their wet knickers on social media.

I read it as shared a name that isn't out there because she can't be mad if someone shared her first name that is openly on google/the website. I might be wrong but otherwise it doesn't make sense!

While I wholeheartedly agree with not hiring her, I think the response was just an immature clap back. She apparently also accused her of sharing their business number which is also available on Google so I believe it

Actually I've read her comment again and it isn't 'clap back' she's saying you referred to me by mine so I referred to you by yours. So it's definitely her name so saying that she was doxxed as well isn't the same thing as her information is public

As an aside, is says a LOT about SM pile-ons and bullying that the CEO of a company has had to take steps to protect herself, her family and her staff because of this entitled nonentity.

VV seems to be quite distressed by the escalation but I don’t know why you wouldn’t just take time off social media if that’s the case. She seems quite manic - there are so so many videos about it on her Instagram.

I honestly think that Snag have inadvertently made the situation worse by the constant apologies. One apology for missing the email and then ignore, ignore, ignore - it would have blown over much quicker.

Looking at her twitter, she is clearly unhinged amd desperate for attention...including the begging for people to go over to OF.

What the hell is VV influencing aside from my gag reflex?!

I cant understand how she keeps calling them a multi billion corporation when she said she got her friends to help them when they nearly went under last year
