Please tell me this is just an evap line?

Been feeling ‘pregnant’ all week, same muscle issues, gas and general exhaustion as my other pregnancy’s. Assumed I was mental as I have the implant and 2 under 2 at home already.

Took a first response tonight just to put my mind at ease and there is a very faint pink line. It’s clearer in person but these are the best pics I can get without natural light!

CB tests are not as sensitive as first response. If you’re only getting a faint line, it might still be very early, so not far enough along to show as positive.

Berkeys · 14/10/2021 21:54

FRERs are well dodgy at the moment, loads of false positives (from a serial tester with many chemical pregnancies).

GiltEdges · 14/10/2021 21:58

@JetRocket

So both the CB’s were negative!!!
Why did you do both? First morning urine is far more likely to give an accurate result, so as a PP said there's a very real possibility you're giving yourself false reassurance. I appreciate it's the result you want, but chances are you'll be buying more tests before you can confirm anything for certain. FWIW I don't think there are many Drs surgeries that do blood tests to confirm pregnancies anymore.
NotMyselfWithoutCoffee · 14/10/2021 22:01

I had two faint lines on first response recently and negative clear blues.
Not pregnant...

GrandTheftWalrus · 14/10/2021 22:02

Clearblue are now doing early digital tests. I used a digital with all 3 of my pregnancies but I was a week late with them all. When I got a 2-3 weeks on my 2nd pregnancy I knew it wasn't going to progress and it didn't.

Try a Clearblue again in about a week to 10 days OP.

Lessofallthisunpleasantness · 14/10/2021 22:04

Wait a week. Inconclusive.

mahren · 14/10/2021 22:10

Hope the doctors can give you more of an idea! I've had many a FRER like that which have ended up being an evap Thanks

Whydoiwearsomuchleopardprint · 14/10/2021 22:14

The first one I think I can see something very very faint, but nothing at all on second. First one could just be shadow or something as can only see a tiny part of what could be a line,

Megan2018 · 14/10/2021 22:35

I had one like this recently- wasn’t pregnant. Subsequent tests were all negative.

2Two · 14/10/2021 23:00

I can't see any line on OP's tests for the life of me, even expanding the pictures. I'm mystified about what other people are seeing.

TheGriffle · 14/10/2021 23:04

In that case if the are positive tests you must be seriously unlucky @JetRocket, your Dh must have SuperSperm or the possible 3rd baby is the next messiah and destined to be born!

I hope the negative ones you’ve done tonight have reassured you and fingers crossed you can get some answers from the GP soon.

RedHelenB · 14/10/2021 23:06

No second line.

NotMyCat · 14/10/2021 23:55

I can see them. Faint but there, and I have my phone on fairly low brightness. Turned the brightness up and they were more obvious
Notdoingthis · 15/10/2021 01:33

I see nothing. What are you all on about?

me4real · 15/10/2021 01:37

How're you feeling after your last set of results @JetRocket ? Yep I imagine 2 under 2 is enough to deal with. :)

Cheeseplantboots · 15/10/2021 02:56

I can’t see anything at all but I never can on these posts!

QueenBee52 · 15/10/2021 03:21

me either... I see nothing 😩

Vivana · 15/10/2021 04:25

I can't. See a. Line either

birdling · 15/10/2021 06:55

Since the vaccine seems to mess up cycles, perhaps it's causing faint positives on pregnancy tests for some people as well.

JetRocket · 15/10/2021 06:56

Update: So last nights CB had nothing but I took the second this morning and there seems to be a faint blue line. Again hard to get pics without any natural light but here’s the best I could do. Does anyone else see it? Should I be concerned?

ThirdElephant · 15/10/2021 07:03

I'd say negative from those pictures, OP. It does look at a distance like there's a line, but when I zoom in it disappears, so I reckon it's just a shadow.

Rowgtfc72 · 15/10/2021 07:08

I can never see the lines on these. But I can see a faint line on yours.
I'd check with your doc later, at least it'll give you peace of mind.

JetRocket · 15/10/2021 07:11

@ThirdElephant

Thanks, I hope so. Last nights had nothing at all so I’m holding off taking the second digital for another day. I’m going to ask for a blood test when I go to the doctors this morning.

Should I ring when they open to ask? Or just turn up to my apt and ask?

Why don’t you just leave it a couple of days. People are really struggling to get to GPS at the moment and this seems pretty unnecessary. Your tests all look negative to me, I am sure you can get that assurance soon enough.

I'd ring ahead. Some surgeries have a rule that bloods are only taken by nurses.

I'd also get it sorted out quickly, contrary to the advice of @Aprilx, because the amount of time it takes to get anything done in the NHS is exactly the reason you should not put it off. Particularly given the increased risk of ectopic pregnancy. Also, take some folic acid just in case, as it sounds like you might want to keep the pregnancy if there is one.

Just to be clear, I very much think that you're not pregnant, but I'm a contingency planner by nature. I hope you get the reassurance you're seeking soon.
