Please tell me this is just an evap line?

Been feeling ‘pregnant’ all week, same muscle issues, gas and general exhaustion as my other pregnancy’s. Assumed I was mental as I have the implant and 2 under 2 at home already.

Took a first response tonight just to put my mind at ease and there is a very faint pink line. It’s clearer in person but these are the best pics I can get without natural light!

Please tell me this is just an evap line?

I think the line is too far apart too.

SylvanasWindrunner · 14/10/2021 21:06

The lines are much further apart than the pic on the test suggests. Here's my positive from previous pregnancy.

Definitely positive. Don't keep wasting money on tests, see the doctor

HarrisMcCoo · 14/10/2021 21:14

Nope, can't see any lines. Good luck though whichever way it goes😬

DancyNancy · 14/10/2021 21:15

Ya I can see that line. Whether its evap or not I don't know. But I got a clear blue when I had a line like that on a first response the day my period was due.
Digital negates all this uncertainty.

And yes I was pregnant
And it was twins!
(So on a separate comment....the myth of strong lines being twins is not accurate as mine was so feint I was uncertain it was even a line)

DancyNancy · 14/10/2021 21:17

Update us on the Digital!!

mamatoTails · 14/10/2021 21:20

I agree the little cheapie strip tests seem to be more accurate. I used to keep a pack in the bathroom cabinet when we were ttc, and after my OH had the snip just in case!

me4real · 14/10/2021 21:21

I can see a very slight line on about half of the pics, not on the other half, so I don't know. Please keep us updated. x

JetRocket · 14/10/2021 21:23

So both the CB’s were negative!!!

Silversun83 · 14/10/2021 21:23

For those saying the line is too far left, that was the exact same position I had when I tested with DC2. Also a bit of a squinter.

It looks positive to me OP Flowers Also had two under two and I remember how much work it was (For a light at the end of the tunnel, they're now 5 and 3 and get on beautifully Smile most of the time

Silversun83 · 14/10/2021 21:25

@JetRocket

So both the CB’s were negative!!!
Could be because they're not as sensitive? I know the wait will be awful, but I would maybe try again the day after tomorrow first thing.
RockPaperScissorLizardSpock · 14/10/2021 21:25

I expect that’s a relief OP

JetRocket · 14/10/2021 21:29

Given the FRER’s I had and my having them implant I’m gonna ask the doctor to do a blood test to check tomorrow I think. Make certain sure

Luckytattie · 14/10/2021 21:38

What actual brand of clear blue was it? Does it say how much before your period you should use them?

I don't get posters saying the lines aren't in the right place...they are exactly where nine came up when I was pregnant

It was the early detection 6 days before your period ones so I feel relatively confident x

StealthPolarBear · 14/10/2021 21:42

What are people seeing here? I can just about see where a line woukd be after the circling but surely you have to be anle to see it to count it as positive.
Op id put good money on you not being pregnant.

Viviennemary · 14/10/2021 21:42

I cant see the line on either one. It looks negative to me.

WithMyEncyclopedia · 14/10/2021 21:43

Do doctors even do blood tests for pregnancy? When I asked they said the normal pregnancy tests were sufficient.

SylvanasWindrunner · 14/10/2021 21:44

Definitely best to check and I'd do another in a couple of days just to put my mind at rest, but the early detection digitals are very sensitive. As I said, I got mine at 10dpo!

FRERs are a bloody nightmare for grey lines and shadows. I've had so many of them that I just stopped buying them for early testing. I've had clearer and more reliable lines on One Step cheapies.

Hope you get the answer you want!

celan · 14/10/2021 21:44

I can't see any lines on them, other than the control lines...

Mymapuddlington · 14/10/2021 21:44

Do doctors even do blood tests for pregnancy?

Not anymore, they just say call the midwife and at your first appointment they do a urine test.

LookingGlassMilk · 14/10/2021 21:48

I had this recently with a FRER, my period was uncharacteristically late (vaccine messed up my cycles) and I got indents just like that.
Coincidentally a friend of mine had a contraception failure at the same time and was also testing, and she had got the same indent.

FRER have really gone downhill. They were so reliable when I was last ttc about 9 years ago.

Mymapuddlington · 14/10/2021 21:49

With negative cb ones I’d assume negative and if you’re still feeling it in a week or so do another test.
I use the digital ones that say pregnant or not just so I don’t question lines lol 10dpo and my frer looked like your first ones but then a clearblue said ‘pregnant 1 week’ which made it so much easier to know.
