Been feeling ‘pregnant’ all week, same muscle issues, gas and general exhaustion as my other pregnancy’s. Assumed I was mental as I have the implant and 2 under 2 at home already.

Took a first response tonight just to put my mind at ease and there is a very faint pink line. It’s clearer in person but these are the best pics I can get without natural light!

Please tell me this is just an evap line?

Why news, OP?

Globaluser · 16/10/2021 19:01

Hope everything is well.
Oh my gosh my last post was meant uo say “any news”.
Stupid phone

JetRocket · 16/10/2021 19:16

No call back yet, pain is coming and going but not consistent anymore.

Both kids are clingy and whingy tonight which will be hard if/ when they do call back. They were supposed to call back within 2 hours and that was 4.5 hours ago.

Kids go to bed at 8 and I shall be going to bed too as I’m exhausted and feel crap!

Buy a cb that says pregnant or not in writing. Much better

Alonelonelylonersbadidea · 16/10/2021 19:25

It could be corpus luteum pain which I've had quite badly in nearly all my pregnancies (11!). A deep throbbing pain on the left hand side. Strangely my one ectopic was found by accident- not because of this pain.

iloveayankeecandle · 16/10/2021 19:42

@JetRocket really hope you're ok. You must be emotionally drained with everything that's going on without the physical pain. Hope you can get some rest.

winterchills · 16/10/2021 19:58

I would definitely try and get a clear blue

They're not very sensitive
financialadvicenc · 16/10/2021 20:43

What a bloody trauma! If you're not pregnant these tests are awful. Imagine the false hope they're giving women.

Hope you get sorted op.

SylvanasWindrunner · 16/10/2021 20:53

They do 10miu digitals now, so almost as sensitive as a FRER (without the dodgy line squinting). I got my positive on 10dpo with the new digitals. OP did use them couple of days ago and got negative. If it's a viable pregnancy, you would get a positive on one by now I'm sure.

Moonbabysmum · 16/10/2021 21:51

Less than 1 pregnancy per year on Nexplanon efficacy of over 99% makes it vanishingly unlikely

1% in a year isn't 'vanishingly unlikely' by a long stretch. The BMJ when assessing risk would label this as moderate to high risk.

If everyone you knew was on the implant, would probably know several women that would become pregnant each year, with it in.

Lovealovestory · 17/10/2021 00:30

Did they call back @JetRocket

Lovealovestory · 17/10/2021 00:31

Hope you are feeling ok

fuckitbucket16 · 17/10/2021 03:09

How old are the tests and are they from the same batch?

I can see a line but it doesn’t look like a positive line to me, it’s grey. Looks like a bad batch of tests?!

JetRocket · 17/10/2021 06:38

They did ring back at 1am and left me a VM reiterating how unlikely it is to get pregnant with the implant but to come to hospital anyway. I declined to wake both kids up and go but I will go today if the pain continues.

Took another FRER this morning and it’s no darker. Basically the same if not a tad lighter.
I feel quite pregnant and definitely have a few of the symptoms I had with my other 2 but that could be down to the implant kicking out progesterone. Who knows.

I feel completely emotionally exhausted this morning I’ve swung from ‘it’s negative’ to ‘oh god that’s positive’ and everything that comes with that about 15 times over the last 72 hours and honestly right now I just genuinely hate FRER I mean what kind of saidists would build tests with these kinds evap/non positive lines then write ‘any line indicates a positive result’ on the box

@JetRocket I just want to say, I hope this turns out as you want. Thanks

Tigerwhocameforsupper · 17/10/2021 07:28

I would pop to the hospital today and say you are concerned about ectopic pregnancy and they will probably refer you for a scan.

JetRocket · 17/10/2021 07:30

@fuckitbucket16

Don’t think they’re all from the same batch far as I can tell, have different numbers on them and were bought at different shops.

OP posts:
minisoksmakehardwork · 17/10/2021 07:36

Please go and get checked out as soon as you can - i understand the not wanting to worry the kids etc. but given your symptoms and positive pregnancy tests I would also be concerned about an ectopic pregnancy. If ignored, it can make you really ill.

LagunaBubbles · 17/10/2021 07:40

Any concerns about ectopic pregnancy should be taken seriously, it can be a medical emergency.

ReeseWitherfork · 17/10/2021 07:42

@JetRocket is DH around today to sit with the kids? Definitely sounds like you need to get to the hospital today. Either way this is all very heartbreaking Flowers I really feel for you

JetRocket · 17/10/2021 07:45

@ReeseWitherfork

No my DH is working nights so any going to hospital will require taking my boisterous 19 month and clingy 4.5 month in with me Grin

OP posts:
Didyeaye · 17/10/2021 07:59

@JetRocket I do understand the predicament but surely your DH could sit with the wee ones today while you go to hospital? Go first thing and then he can get his head down once you’re back?

JetRocket · 17/10/2021 08:08

@JetRocket unfortunately not as he won’t arrive home till 9am earliest. Hospital is 35-45 mins drive away traffic dependant and quickest way shares a road with a big shopping park and entertainment complex so even on weekends is a bit busy.

It won’t be quick at hospital as will have to go via A&E, there’s no self referral to EPU so it will be a few hours. DH due to work tonight and it’s not a job you can so tired would put many lives at risk.

I do have my mum nearby though so she could take the toddler but I know she has plans today so not gonna ask unless unavoidable
