Please tell me this is just an evap line?

Been feeling ‘pregnant’ all week, same muscle issues, gas and general exhaustion as my other pregnancy’s. Assumed I was mental as I have the implant and 2 under 2 at home already.

Took a first response tonight just to put my mind at ease and there is a very faint pink line. It’s clearer in person but these are the best pics I can get without natural light!

@StealthPolarBear

I cant see a line atall!
Neither can I
Thehop · 16/10/2021 12:12

Definitely a positive test on the last one OP.

Joystir59 · 16/10/2021 12:13

Even I, who never sees lines, can see the line on the most recent pic. Sorry.

Luckytattie · 16/10/2021 12:14

I would err on the side that you are but it's still not conclusive enough.

I think you need to wait 2+ days and try again and see if darker

Tigerwhocameforsupper · 16/10/2021 12:17

Definitely a line in the latest picture.

lynntheyresexpeople · 16/10/2021 12:19

There's a definite line in your latest pic

coodawoodashooda · 16/10/2021 12:20

@JetRocket

Better pic?
Definitely pregnant. Youll be fine.
nanbread · 16/10/2021 12:24

Given the line is still so faint it could be a chemical pregnancy

Treaclepie19 · 16/10/2021 12:25

Yeah definite line and there is progression. Sorry its not what you were hoping for OP.

Crunchymum · 16/10/2021 12:25

So not only did you get the see an actual GP (quickly) you got a blood test too?

That isn't meant to sound snide, by the way. It's just so far removed from the service most of us are getting at the moment Shock

Crunchymum · 16/10/2021 12:28

Oh right, I see you were already booked at the GP.

My point still stands though.... being able to get an appointment and a blood test is no mean feat at the moment

(My GP practice doesn't even do blood tests!!! It's a large London practice but doesn't have its own phlebotomy department)

ReeseWitherfork · 16/10/2021 12:35

My GP practice doesn't really have a phlebotomy department... Just one phlebotomist who works part time. She's the equivalent of an HCA. Baffles me that any large practice wouldn't hire one. You sure are getting a shoddy service @Crunchymum

PumpkinPie2016 · 16/10/2021 12:42

I'd say your FRER all look positive-particularly the last one. Sorry OP, I know that's not what you want.

Wait for the bloods/do another test Monday.

I really, truly hope I don't cause offence to you or anyone else with this, however, it is worth remembering that you don't have to go through with the pregnancy. Obviously, that is for you and your partner to decide but it may be worth thinking about what you will do if you are pregnant Flowers

TrampolineForMrKite · 16/10/2021 12:46

My first test with DD2 was a FRER and fainter than all of those @JetRocket. I’d say you’re pregnant.

SunsetSmartmeter · 16/10/2021 13:43

@JetRocket

There's a clear line in your latest photo & as others have said it's progressing. I'm sorry if that's not what you want to hear OP, I know this is a very difficult time for you. These aren't multiple evaporation lines on multiple tests though, it's a consistent positive result.

I wish you all the best, I'm sure there will be lots of people here to offer emotional support in the coming days Thanks

Temple29 · 16/10/2021 13:52

Most recent picture would have me thinking you are pregnant. Great that you got bloods taken so you’ll know for sure in a couple of days.

OrlandointheWilderness · 16/10/2021 13:55

I'm sorry but looks positive to me.

JetRocket · 16/10/2021 13:58

Is it not possible to get multiple evap lines? I thought they were pretty common especially on FRER??? I’ve taken about 8 so far (Blushbecause I have no self control) and they all look like these so does that mean it’s a definite positive?

I thought every test could pretty easily have an evap line??

OP posts:
ReeseWitherfork · 16/10/2021 14:02

I may be very wrong but I thought evap lines were only generally a thing after the elapsed time when your wee starts drying. So if those lines are showing up in the time then I can't imagine they're all evaps. Sorry! I assume your HCG levels couldn't be detectable 4.5 months after a pregnancy? That seems like a stretch, clutching at straws for you.

Sillawithans · 16/10/2021 14:03

I had 3 under 2, no twins. You'll be fine.

Treaclepie19 · 16/10/2021 14:15

If it was an evap its unlikely you'd get multiples and especially unlikely they'd darken as days go by.

ChorizoJacketPotato · 16/10/2021 14:35

Ive never had an evap on a frer. Like never ever. Blue dye tests, yes.

Alonelonelylonersbadidea · 16/10/2021 14:46

The last one definitely looks positive. It's darker but not considerably darker. Maybe (hopefully) it's just chemical.
Hopefully when your bloods come back you'll be able to organise something as it's so early. It seems nuts to go through a pregnancy when it'll make life so so hard for your family and you both may lose your jobs.
I wish you all the luck in the world OP.

JetRocket · 16/10/2021 14:55

I’m concerned as I have a nasty aching pain in the side of my stomach. I told the GP yesterday but was told ‘not to worry it’s too early for that’ but google searches suggest ectopic pregnancy symptoms can start from 4 weeks.

I know the implant raises the risk of ectopic and this aching pain has gotten steadily worse since yesterday. No other symptoms of concern though

OP posts:
JetRocket · 16/10/2021 14:56

I can’t find an answer online as to whether an ectopic pregnancy could impact how strong the pregnant test results are.

I just worry is all.
