I bought my computer and got internet access when my son was diagnosed profoundly autistic. At the time I couldn't afford it but the help and info I got there has helped me understand how to help him and actually opened up info regarding therapies which have improved him so much that he regained speech and toilet trainned etc. So the cost was not really an issue.

To be spesific ( if it helps) you might wish to try and phrase your logical question as a question rather than as a statement. And avoiding phrases like WTF may get you far more measured responses.

Lovely OP In the first place my view would be that it isn't for any of us to judge what other people spend their money on and why. But internet access is by no means the luxury it once was.
