Millions in the bank so we can work as a hobby rather than needing to.

A gap year travelling like all my friends did.

Going away to uni (couldn’t afford it so had to go part time as an adult).

Ilovegardens · 10/10/2021 18:45

A sense of belonging.

Chunkymenrock · 10/10/2021 18:45

Boobs that do anything other than point to the floor. They couldn't droop more if they tried. Sad

topcat2014 · 10/10/2021 18:46

We had a little boy placed with us for adoption - but sadly the placement broke down after a couple of months.

It is two years ago, and I think about him every day..

(but it does get a little easier with time)

It sounds very shallow, but I'd love to dress well, have great hair, be well groomed and look slim so that clothes hang well on me. Instead, I am middle aged and very frumpy.

Lovinosc2 · 10/10/2021 18:53

One last conversation with the love of my life who died of cancer without my knowing, until it was too late.

SolitaryTree · 10/10/2021 18:57

One single family member that was supposed to love and care.
I am however very lucky to have fantastic children and a younger sibling.

@Happymum12345

I’m not at peace with it yet, but unrequited love.
Unrequited love is so painful. I fell madly in love at 15 with a fellow dancer who was 16. He was my pas de deux partner in class. It was all consuming. I would think about him all the time and couldn’t wait to see him everyday. I spent a week at his house one holiday so we could rehearse and we ended up lying on his bed and kissing but when we got back to school he acted like nothing had happened. He broke my heart! I still have a few photos of the two of us. He was my first painful love.
