Owning a property in my own right.

Babyroobs · 09/10/2021 14:37

A slim body.

the80sweregreat · 09/10/2021 14:37

Being slim or rich !
Both will never happen I'm sure

SturminsterNewton · 09/10/2021 14:39

Being an architect.

Babyroobs · 09/10/2021 14:41

@Namechange768

I would have loved a sister and cousins. I do have a brother but I prefer female company. Being attractive, I'm just not and it's rubbish. A teenage romance, yes me too, never been on a date. But I have a nice house, garden, husband, children, dog, good job, parents still around, lots of friends. So much to be thankful for.
I would have loved to have a sister too.
MoragsEyebrows · 09/10/2021 14:45

A second child.

inmyslippers · 09/10/2021 14:48

@Whattheladybirdsaidnext

Good eyesight. And green frog wellies. The ones with eyes on the toes...
Are you me?
Hummmph · 09/10/2021 14:51

A secure, loving partner.

On a more lighthearted note, the talent to be and stay tidy (looks at floordrobe...)

nicecheesegromit · 09/10/2021 14:53

Being left out of something I really wanted to be a part of

I really don't cope with being excluded very well at all and have to work hard to overcome feelings of rejection (there's no good answer to the question 'why was I left out?')

Still trying to find my peace with it

Sunshinealligator · 09/10/2021 14:53

A very nice figure. I'm just not built to have one!

BlackAmericanoNoSugar · 09/10/2021 14:56

Good hair (I'm shallow).

Nc123 · 09/10/2021 15:00

A daughter.

It’s ridiculous but it never occurred to me that I wouldn’t have sons and daughters until after I had my third son and realised I was done having babies. I love my sons completely and they are the best boys in the world, but I never had a sister and would have loved a daughter too.

BingBongToTheMoon · 09/10/2021 15:01

A second baby.

superplumb · 09/10/2021 15:02

Thulian · 09/10/2021 15:03

Oh yes to extended family! Nice, responsible, adult siblings or parents/other relatives who my kids would love and who would love my kids and be able to look after them sometimes. I think I made my peace with not having that a long time ago but I still think about it.

And in terms of iconic childhood possessions, a chopper bike!

rosesinmygarden · 09/10/2021 15:04

A normal smile

MotherMole · 09/10/2021 15:05

@Chasingsquirrels Same here, so I bought one as an adult. They’re so crap, the ice crusher is awful. I’m pleased I did it as I have closure now but 100% waste of money!

rosesinmygarden · 09/10/2021 15:07

A normal smile. I was born with facial palsy and have never smiled with both sides of my face.

I've accepted that. I wish people around me could too and realise it doesnt mean I'm stupid.

eclipsechips · 09/10/2021 15:08

A child

Latenightreader · 09/10/2021 15:10

Good sex. Gave up on the idea of it over a decade ago. I'm happily single but I do occasionally wonder if it was something lacking in me or my partner(s).

Fizbosshoes · 09/10/2021 15:11

Being an average adult height (im under 5ft)

Hamtonn · 09/10/2021 15:11

A job. I have autism and despite having excellent postgraduate qualifications nobody will hire me because they feel uncomfortable around me.

EmbarrassingAdmissions · 09/10/2021 15:12

The ability to climb a rope.
