No fb for over an hour now, literally just realised how much I am on there, hopefully this helps to let go a bit.

I've reverted to texting too - it's my preferred way of communication but everyone else seems to prefer WA, so it's all good for me Grin

So weird for me as we don't have any mobile signal so are entirely wifi and whatsapp. I've no idea where anyone is....

Went off for me around 4:40pm, so been 3 hours now. Surprising how much Netflix I can watch in that time.

Strangely I have wifi calling on my phone but it never works.

I dont use it to see what people have had for tea, there are a lot of support groups on there too🙄

I wasn't bothered until I realised a prize draw I entered on FB is being done at 9. Also, I have an Oculus VR headset (Oculus is owned by FB and you need an account to use it), but not sure how that is affected yet

Their shares are tanking and a whistleblower has handed over all sorts of damaging documents to the WSJ. FB is having a very bad day. Smile

I’ve washed and dried and curled my hair. Going to read a book. It’s like a power cut. Fab! I have no self control otherwise.

Also laughing that a bastard of a ex male friend won’t have been able to message all his side chicks on social media ….. he’ll be lost.

I'm missing it.

We use it extensively to keep in touch with family in US & Canada and there's a medical emergency with DBro at the moment. It's easy for the family to keep us all informed with what's happening and to support each other. Because of time difference , it's the evenings when we all communicate.

Facebook provides me with some of my work indirectly, so not sure what I am meant to do when I can't access it. On the positive side, no rouge posters in the FBgroups I moderate with luck as they can't connect either. Work email still connects, no support requests so far tonight so I may have a quiet evening.

Social media is used a lot for business these days, not everyone is on it asking where has fuel - though it can be useful for that as well... many places still dry where I am, 22 miles Southwest of London.

Well, that'll be the end of the fuel crisis then.

As nobody can say x garage has no fuel, leading to people piling into y garage so they don't run out , ever.

I'm really struggling without WhatsApp.

I'm an emetophobe and my 3yo is puking. My usual outlets (I have a few lovely, kind family and friends who understand my issue) and they would be my first port of call via WhatsApp

DP isn't here either.
