No fb for over an hour now, literally just realised how much I am on there, hopefully this helps to let go a bit.

They're all gone in Dublin too. Seems to be a global issue. But we have food and petrol. The Internet apparently has a slow connection and/or no connection but that's because Vodafone Ireland is experiencing "technical difficulties"! Thank god for mobile data😂. Just checked with dd2 and she was trying to get online for ages. So she can genuinely tell the teachers tomorrow that the Internet was down so she couldn't do her homework. Makes a change from the dog eating it.

I wasn't bothered until I realised a prize draw I entered on FB is being done at 9. Also, I have an Oculus VR headset (Oculus is owned by FB and you need an account to use it), but not sure how that is affected yet

Apps that login using Facebook are not letting people log on, it's affecting lots of apps

I spoke to a close friend a little while ago & everything is broken for Facebook employees. She was saying she’s had no email since 5pm, their internal corporate Facebook (their version of Teams) is down & there’s no way for Facebook to let its employees know what’s going on so they’re currently as clueless as us.

Weirdly our smart humidity sensors are also down since 5pm. They definitely aren’t a Facebook product.

Typical lol 😂 I'm stuck in bed with Covid feeling crap, Son just tested positive tonight (daughter tested positive 5 days ago) and praying My asthmatic husband doesn't get it! Tv on the blink and can't concentrate on a book. Never mind I'll look out of the window and watch for the plague of locusts arriving 🤣🤣😝😝

No it's a forum. They've been around a lot longer than FB and other social media.

I just asked my husband (he does Internet stuff as a day job - I don’t understand it but he knows this shite) and he said that’s bull, that’s saying the data isn’t gone; the map that shows the way to their servers is missing. That’s the problem.
