@TyrannysaurusXXrightshoarder

This bloody kidney stone/s (could be more than one, don’t know, haven’t been scanned yet). I’ve bloody had enough! Thought I was dying on Saturday night. Sad
That is the worst pain, poor you.

A&E prescribed me ibuprofen suppositories and the nurse said they were the only thing to manage the pain properly..

@Bertiebiscuit

Most men - old white rockers who should shut up and stay home - the strolling bones, rod stewart, Bob Dylan, etc etc Old make actors still getting paired up with very young women both in films and in real life Women's male partners who are younger than them being called "toyboys" insulting White male Tories in suits who have no clue how women have to live Male journalists who call any woman over 50 a granny but never call men grandad The new law that says all female singers have to perform in their pants

@TinySongstress

The media, of late.

It's just a vehicle to whip up panic and anxiety over this, that or the other. Thoroughly sick of it.

^This!

I'm sick of the cycle of hysteria. Through Covid it was endlessly pressurising the government to allow something then howling that it was irresponsible to do it. Now it seems to be whipping up panic about shortages, trying to scare people to stockpile which they can then whip into a crisis like with the petrol

Grey everywhere I look. Walls, bedding, sky. I need some colour and sunshine!

Menopause is my main bugbear though

I have loads...
Grey/blush pink decor

People using the word 'sassy' (my friends DD is quite cheeky, full of attitude and sometimes rude but they dismiss it as just being sassy)

Anxiety

The fast and hectic pace of life in general.

Howlongisnow81 · 05/10/2021 22:20

@HelloDaisy agree regarding the grey!

(FE college lecturer)

Students making lame arse reasons why they miss half of the lessons eg

  • I was asleep
  • I lost my timetable (i emailed it to you three times)
  • I got the wrong day (YOU ARE 17, ffs you can tell the days)
  • I thought I should self isolate as I coughed a couple of times
  • I have a dentist appointment (you have14 hours of class a week!, get it another time)
  • I have anxiety (it would ease a lot if you went to class and I didn’t have to chase you)
  • I couldn’t be bothered (well at least you’re honest; now tell me why you enrolled in this course when you don’t like the subject?!)

Etc
I really just want to teach kids who want to do the course 😂😂 is it too much to ask?!

cakeforthewin · 05/10/2021 23:54

People parking on pavements
Chronic illness
Never feeling able to put myself first
Never getting on top of the housework
Always feeling like I’m failing at something

Yes to holes in socks!

I’m also tired of people dumping their rubbish out of their car windows, seeing poo bags hanging in trees, chewing gum and spit on the pavements and just general disregard people have for their surroundings.

Chocolatehamper · 06/10/2021 00:36

@BrilloPaddy

Running a small business. With staff who phone in sick with fuck all thought for the mayhem that one cog out of the wheel causes for everyone else. I'd fucking love to bleat to my GP that I'm tired, need a break from work and get signed off Angry but that won't pay the NI, VAT, wages and income tax will it............ I've had 1 week off this year and am absolutely beyond exhausted.
This!

And cooking... every fucking meal, every fucking day, for kids to say they don't like it. Fucking starve then or try do it for yourself, no?

And menopause.

Every business telling me you can do this online. No one wants to talk to me.
Want a loan...oh apply online where a faceless machine won't listen to why l need it like previously a friendly local bank person would have.
Car insurance..oh apply online. NO l want to talk to someone to explain something.
I bloody well hate it!!!

I think this faceless automated society is partly what is making so many people depressed and anxious. Coupled with SM which is totally false. Either fully of angry ranting mad people or people desperate for ‘likes’.
HarriR · 06/10/2021 09:12

The bloody rash all over the top of my torrso. The virus I have. The rain. The news. People ranting how Covid doesn't exist. People panic buying.

littlemissalwaystired · 06/10/2021 09:13

Being a midwife in the current awful situations we're having to work in. Dangerous staffing, increased workload, morale through the floor.

nopuppiesallowed · 06/10/2021 09:19

"Your call is important to us."
No. It isn't. If it was, you would have more staff so I wouldn't have to listen to that irritating music for so long. AND, if my call is really important to you, why don't you at least tell me if I am number 1 in the queue or number 101?
