Doing it all alone

ButterflyAway · 04/10/2021 14:39

@MumDad1958 Flowers if you need a chat message me, I’ve been there.

waybill · 04/10/2021 14:39

A seemingly never-ending bathroom installation. 11 days and still ongoing. Aaarrgghh.

Walkingriver · 04/10/2021 14:39

DC’s toys everywhere and the constant mess even when it’s tidied up daily.

The government and media claims that there is a huge amount of jobs out there. Not in my town there’s not, unless you want to go into retail or hospitality.

My son studying Shakespeare and other 'classics' which are slowly but surely eroding any enjoyment that he gets from reading or books.

Tootsey11 · 04/10/2021 14:40

The lying shit of a car dealer that I bought my car from.

WaterAndTheWild · 04/10/2021 14:41

Constant, continuing destruction of the environment coupled with greenwashing

HummingBeeBox · 04/10/2021 14:41

The language police and the use of the word woman becoming a swear word.

MumDad1958 · 04/10/2021 14:43

Thank you Butterfly.i will remember your message.

quitecontrary123 · 04/10/2021 14:43

Never waking up feeling refreshed.

Legomania · 04/10/2021 14:43

Having to keep my children at home when they're not actually unwell

BrilliantBetty · 04/10/2021 14:45

Eye brow make up. I hate it always looks dreadful. Want to see natural brows and wear mine natural.

olderthanilookapparently · 04/10/2021 14:45

Washing various pieces of football / rugby / pe kit in 2 different sizes with similar patterns so you spend forever working out which bit is for which teenager

MarshaBradyo · 04/10/2021 14:46

Isolation

Covid here and it’s just as tedious as the other times

SockQueen · 04/10/2021 14:50

Laundry.

The relentless drudgery of domestic life with small children.

FreeBritnee · 04/10/2021 14:51

Any kind of influencer.

imnottoofussed · 04/10/2021 14:51

Working for a living

My boss

Selfies (yes I already know what you look like what with us being friends, I don't need to see a selfie of you at least once a day)

Selfies with the pouting lips especially (no your lips don't look like that, you are thinking of a blow up doll, no blow up dolls aren't attractive so why do you want to look like one)

Other people basically Grin

PhoboPhobia · 04/10/2021 14:52

@WomanStanleyWoman

People at work knowing tasks will be coming up for me weeks in advance, but not telling me until days (or hours) before the deadline - because apparently I just sit and wait all day for their call Angry
Me too! They forward me an email that they were sent 2 weeks ago and then tell me the deadline is the next day and can I do it urgently.
Squirrelblanket · 04/10/2021 14:52

This cough that won't f* off.

SilverGlassHare · 04/10/2021 14:52

Male violence against women and children. This is more and more becoming the most important political issue to me.

Also on a much more frivilous note, not being able to fit into my jeans yet still eating cake all the time. Why do I do that?

TheWayTheLightFalls · 04/10/2021 14:54

Being pregnant. I’m very grateful to be carrying a healthy (twin!) pregnancy and even more grateful to the MW and hospital staff but good lord I have every symptom/side effect going and it just gets harder every day.

cocavino · 04/10/2021 14:54

Male violence, male entitlement

MmeD · 04/10/2021 14:55

Work. Me. I’d like to take some annual leave, not just from my job but from being me.

Perhaps I could be the Duchess of Cambridge for a week? She’s tall, thin, self-disciplined, rich, well liked and seems pleased with herself and life. That would make a nice change.

LarkspurLane · 04/10/2021 14:57

but what about the men?

Wrongsideofhistorymyarse · 04/10/2021 14:58

Another vote for male violence.

Political parties pretending that 'woman' is a dirty word.
