Having moved to Denmark it’s easier to look at stuff from a distance without worrying constantly about day to day like petrol or food stocks — so from a distance here’s my UK specific stuff

People actually swallowing what bullshit Boris Johnson and his gang of ‘Del boys’ are spouting that day and not understanding that basically he saw more votes in adopting a UKIP mentality. He really doesn’t give a shiny shit about people’s lives and now realises too that they are gullible enough to vote for fraudsters/conmen. People stupid enough to believe that their are supply chain issues everywhere- it’s simply pure prime bullshit.

The general vibe that stupidity is celebrated and anything a bit ‘highbrow’— well we are all entitled snowflakes who don’t like a laugh—

Obsessions with gender politics— dominates far too much- how about we focus a bit more on long term health or disabled issues or the underskilled or mental health etc rather than constantly on LGBT .

Girls and young women more interested in making quick cash from only fans or being an influencer than actually flexing their brain and developing a high paid long term career that doesn’t require them flashing their tits

The phrase ‘working people’ used by politicians. So people who can’t work due to disabilities, stay at home parents , students and the retired are not people who appear to count in any way . It’s insulting.

To clarify, I am not meaning true victims of hatred or hate crimes such as racism, homophobia or misogyny. Those are very wrong and NEVER acceptable. I'm meaning the current trend of wanting to identify as an oppressed minority because it looks glamorous and fun. I can scarcely look at anyone's social media accounts without seeing a string of self diagnosed complications and gender identities.

Raising awareness is one thing, but some people almost 'collect' conditions/disorders just to be able to identify as oppressed. I've seen this mainly online, but it's spilling over into real life too.

Bloody hormones. So sick of all the physical and emotional symptoms around my period, and these days around ovulation too! As if life isn't hard enough. Dreading peri/menopause.

Yes I always thinks this too and also just as often they say “hard-working families* as if only families matter. People can be single, hardworking and as valuable as someone with a family. I alway think it’s really hurtful to people who have no family even if they wanted that.

It’s one example of how many people and especially politicians, pay lip service to inclusivity and how everyone must be included and not left out, when they’re talking about whatever marginalised community is trending, then just forget to be inclusive in the next breath.

Teachers are often terrible for this too. “we must be nice to everyone” but in the same breath, if (for example) you don’t have a PE kit, possibly because you’re poor or have a chaotic home, you can be humiliated and singled out. People not thinking through “kindness” and “inclusivity” but just saying it because it’s the thing to say, really fucks me off.
