To ask why we aren’t talking about the fuel anymore?

We still have all our petrol stations empty, there has been the odd delivery but all the pumps have empty signs very quickly.

It doesn’t seem to be on the news anymore, are we just accepting that this is how we now live?

Good public transport in the SE - is that a joke? Where I live there is a bus which goes to two towns, but not as of end of December, the provider has decided to stop. There is no public transport between the village and the nearest railway station.

There is a motorway cutting through the countryside, with a junction that frequently has mile long tail backs because the highways authorities cannot agree what to do about the junction (it's been a problem for over two decades and Smart Motorway has made it worse, not better).
Welcome to Southern England, 22 miles from London.

The country doesn't revolve around the SE.

You might like to tell the disrupters protestors that then.

As pp have explained, much of the SE doesn't have good public transport. Unlike, for example, Newcastle.

As another pp pointed out, about 1/3 of the UK population is crammed into the SE. Which means that the public transport is already at capacity.

The price of fuel should still be in the news I think as in front page or high on the agenda at least. It’s hit an all time high at 142.94p beating 2012 records which will only continue to hit people’s pockets in times that are only getting increasingly difficult and more expensive. There is already a forecast of fuel going beyond 1.50 a litre but who knows…lots of things are just going up and up price wise!

I'm not talking about it because I don't buy it
