To ask what your bedroom looks like?

Currently in the process of redecorating my bedroom and itching for inspiration. Would MN be ever so kind to show me their bedroom so I can pinch ideas be inspired by their room? Thanks

It makes me happy the whole room is colourful, pretty things on all of the walls and lots of fairy lights. In the evenings I either have a big humidifier on with lavender oil in it or incense burning too.
One of the wallpapered edges (the one next to the fire place) is ripped to shreds when you look closely though, I have 4 cats who have decided it’s a built in scratch post! I thought about replacing the paper but I quite like that it’s the cats corner. 🤣

@SolitaryTree lovely room and I love that you have roller skates by the bed. I’m enjoying imagining that you wear them round the house instead of slippers.

@Squiz81 no they’re not used in the house unfortunately. I did however purchase myself a pair of mop slippers a few years ago so I could mop the floors as I whizzed around 🤣

Mine looks like a bloody mess at the moment (been away this weekend and just got back so there are suitcases and clothes everywhere ) but ordinarily it’s a lovely peaceful sanctuary with grey green walls, a navy panelled wall behind the bed, built in wardrobes painted the same grey green as the walls, white wooden shutters, white picture rail and white above that (and also on the ceiling), oak bed and matching bedside tables, plain white bedding. That’s it, no other furniture that you can see, it’s just tidy and calm, just how we like it.

Aw thank you @Mantlemoose. It looks a lot less tidy now as I have a poorly DS curled up next to me under lots of layers of blankets and we’re surrounded by calpol, thermometers and discarded clothes.

The other end just has a mirror on the wall above two sets of chest of drawers. Clothes are in the dressing room.

Ah no worries. I need to go and pick up some samples from the local flooring place and figure out what we want.

I have white and grey which was decorated by previous owners.

What I would like is duck egg, with slightly darker curtains. ( Having to pay for essential works first).

This is my wallpaper (it's not on all four walls as I think it would be a bit much). Room was so cold and dull before and it's really warmed it up, teamed with the woodwork painted with a pale coffee colour. Not to everyone taste and it'll probably date quickly but I love it just now.

We have a loft conversion, spacious enough for a super king bed. It feels far away from the rest of the house.

Grey carpet, wooden blinds and bannister/rail on the stairs, four windows plus a skylight so lovely and light. I chose the paint colours at the Valspar mix range, a really soft muted plum which is v similar to a Farrow and Ball colour, with rose white ceiling and a pop of bright lemon on a feature wall. If I was going to do it again, I would probably just go with the plum throughout, it's very restful.

Bit jealous. Noone have their desk next to their pillow then?

Floor to ceiling windows, dark blue paint with blue velvet chairs and coordinating bedding on the bed.

Ours is F&B Cornforth white up to picture rail then PBW above - they look great together-we had pavilion great until recently, which was also nice.

Superking bed, could never downsize-(if you can't fit a superking, at least use superking duvets on A king size bed). We have a large abstract oil painting above our bed which I love. Another wall has a quad set of framed B&W photos from our wedding day.

Piles of shite to be sorted but almost always white 100% linen bedding-bedding is one of the few things I'm happy to spend extortionate amounts on.

Ours when it was first finished, love a bold colour! We’ve got built in IKEA mirrored wardrobes which hide all my clutter, lovely big superking bed. We wanted it to feel like a luxurious hotel room. We’ve put some shelves up since, still got to hang pictures, get bedside tables & might put a dressing table in once DD moves into the nursery
