Currently in the process of redecorating my bedroom and itching for inspiration. Would MN be ever so kind to show me their bedroom so I can pinch ideas be inspired by their room? Thanks

The one with IKEA lights? Or the other one - they're from The Range. We have so much IKEA in our bedrooms at the moment! We had to furnish four bedrooms quickly and you just can't go wrong can you? Their stuff is pretty good quality for the price.

Jealous of these tidy bedrooms. We are so short of storage that everything ends up in our room. Laundry, shoes,boots, bags….all round the edge of the room with a bed in the middle. It’s a shit hole

Ours is deep red, king-size bed the rest of the furniture is 1920s wood in art deco style.

I really like your room @PooWillyNameChange, I know the photo doesn’t show it how you have it now, but it’s a lovely example of mid century design.

I’m also very jealous of the PP with the beautiful beams!

I bet a lot of people posting on here have tidied up before taking the photos. I certainly did! I also positioned myself so that the laundry basket, the clothes airer, the coat hanger exercise bike and all the other clutter was out of shot. 99% sure that at least some of the pp did the same 😉

We have just decorated ours too - weird shape as in the roof but my clever DH managed to make a dressing room with fitted wardrobes (out of sight in the corridor) and fit loads of lovely drawers for all my junk! Not pretty but very functional. Oh and an added reading area with my fav chair and a dangly light :)

@HaggisTheGreat The cushions on my bed currently live in a pile on the floor! We don't sleep with them on the bed and sadly cushion arranging is low down on my to do list these days, lucky if the duvet gets straightened in the morning. Absolutely lovely when we have the time though, makes the room feel extra cosy

@Laiste yep, the IKEA everywhere look..... trying to decide on a neutral ish colour for our wall behind our bed, currently it has..... interesting floral wallpaper!

Just had ours redone - absolutely love it

Plain walls,wooden furniture, crystal lamps. When I get bored with it I change the colour of the bedding or accessories

Mine is a dated disaster. DD calls it a theatrical gothic dungeon. Will post a pic if you like for chuckle of the day.😁 Some lovely inspirational rooms on here, I must get my sh*t together & change mine!

I have Tiffany blue walls with a picture of Audrey Hepburn on the wall at my side of the bed Hubby has Croatian footballer Zvonimir Boban in the wall at his side. We have New York bedding and a picture of the New York skyline above our bed.

We have the tiniest room, but we’ve just sold the house so we have a much larger bedroom in the new house

Lick wallpaper & F&B Cinder Rose

It's been a while since it was done but I still love it. The walls are the palest creamy lemon which really pick up the morning light. My biggest love is the bed which I actually built myself!

Came here hoping this was going to be a “mine is a complete tip, with everything from bags of kids clothes waiting to go to charity piled up, to my work desk and mounds of paperwork”
Very disappointed that this hasn’t made me feel better

Very bare...but...

One bedside table with lamp and clock radio. Some toiletries.

LOTS of books. Built in wardrobe

No telly. No sound system.

This was ours when it was done a few months ago, t’s already being used as a dumping ground for random bits of furniture from other bedrooms that we’re now decorating but hopefully, eventually it will look like this again!

Our bedroom (well our entire house) is inspired by Kit Kemp. I love our bedroom. It has dark blue walls, dark wood floors (with a colourful rug), white bookshelves across one wall, including over the door, white bedding.
