What to do about dog poo woman?

There is a tiny elderly woman who walks her dogs past my house every morning. She’s quite well known due to the fact that she’s about 4ft and walks two giant Irish wolfhounds that are 3 times the size of her. Problem is she doesn’t pick up their shit. The dogs often poo right outside my house. I went out to speak to her last week and asked her nicely if she would mind picking up the dog poo and she smiled sweetly and said “I’m 86 dear, if I bent down there I’d never get back up again!” and walked off.
Anyway there was a post on the neighbourhood Facebook page about people leaving dog poo so I replied saying about this lady and was told I was out of order as she’s so elderly!?

WIBU to mention it or even approach her??

WTF

If she doesn't pick up her dogs what on earth does her garden look/smell like???

Her garden will be fine, it's the pavement outside everybody else's house that will be stinking!

Also - don't get the horror of naming her on Facebook - she is carrying out this offence (and it is a prosecutable offence) in full view on anybody with a camera phone. She is clearly very untroubled about the view of the neighbourhood.

Pure bleach on the pavement stop the dogs pooing in front of your house , try it .

Why would a person of 86 buy two huge dogs. (and a 4ft person at that) Irish Wolfhounds have an average lifespan of only 7 years so she must have been nearly 80 at least when she bought them. If she is fit enough to look after the dogs then she is fit enough to pick up their s--t.

@Owl55 I'd use white vinegar, rather than bleach on the pavement, it might hurt animal's paws, and it can damage clothes.

I used to clean up our paving using Jeyes fluid but I'd dilute it so it didn't hurt animals paws.

Bitten by a Doberman - go to the Police. To have a dog - Dangerously out of control in a Public Place. - is a Criminal Offence .
Get your ducks in a row first. Where. When. Picture(s) of the injury. Report from A&E if you had to attend. Can you identify the person who failed to control the animal allowing you to be bitten. INSIST on the offence being recorded as such.
Next time the person being bitten could be a child.

I would have booked another room and invited GP’s to come along and baby sit there if they were willing to.

Or left the eldest to have a sleepover with a friend and taken youngest and let DC to sleep in a push chair for a few hours as a one off if it was proving difficult to find someone to watch the youngest other than DW’s parents.
