How often do you and your dc eat McDonald's?

I don't drive and there isn't one within walking distance so for us it's a rare thing on day trips. I'd have one more often as I'm rather partial to a McFlurry or a veggie deluxe meal and dc think it's the height of excitement and think I'm a bit mean that we can't have one as often as their friends. Is it a treat? A regular thing? Just something quick and cheap to grab? No judgement from me, just curious as to what's normal as apparently I'm not normal 😂

Never. I'd rather buy my kids a bag of chips.

About once a month when DC were younger, now they are bottomless pits it doesn't fill them up so tend to get a Chinese or something when we want quick take away

Once every month I'd say. But their vegetarian/vegan options are dire.

I agree. They actually used to be better when I was in my teens. So I don't go much for this reason. But I'm pretty obsessed with slushy type things right now and they do a nice frozen lemonade. So I've been a few times for that.

Once a term when I take DD back to university The services are a convenient stop off for a break

We went twice in the summer hols as I had vouchers.

The kids choose it on their birthdays, we often get it when travelling at service stations (maybe 3/4 times a year) and as a random treat occasionally. I’d say maybe 8-10 times a year?

4 times a year, it will be less now as my local branch has stopped doing the wraps.

Few times a year, mostly when on journeys because they make good cheap stopping off points. I can count how many I've had close to home ever on my hands - and some of those were during kitchen renovations so basically don't count

Probably once a week, we can get it on uber eats but they always fuck up the order so much prefer when we get it in person. Their hot chocolate is also nicer than any I've had from costa/pret/Starbucks and far cheaper too!

Once every 1-2 months. This is because where we live now there isn't a close enough one. If we lived closer it's probably be more like every 1-2 weeks.

I enjoy a Big Mac now and then. I'm not the least bit snobby about MacDonalds. TBH their food is often better than other offerings st service stations.

I eat it more than DD. It's so easy, I WFH, get to 09:30 and start salivating over a double sausage and egg McMuffin.

Uber Eats... here within 10 mins due to how close I live to one.

We have a soft spot for the breakfast muffins after parkrun and the chicken wraps which aren't too bad.
I can eat a chicken salad on a 5:2 fast day and it's a satisfying use of limited calories.

DS1 has ASD so appreciates the consistency, and it was also a reliable place to go before he outgrew multiple food allergies.

My wholesome 12 year old self would be disgusted me, but it has changed since the early 90s.

Once a month- it is emergency food.
None of the family like it much, but will eat it as a last resort.
Definitely not a treat.

Once or twice a month when I fancy an apple pie.

More often when travelling because they're a nice, cheap, safe place to wait for a train, especially late at night.
