How often do you and your dc eat McDonald's?

I don't drive and there isn't one within walking distance so for us it's a rare thing on day trips. I'd have one more often as I'm rather partial to a McFlurry or a veggie deluxe meal and dc think it's the height of excitement Grin and think I'm a bit mean that we can't have one as often as their friends. Is it a treat? A regular thing? Just something quick and cheap to grab? No judgement from me, just curious as to what's normal as apparently I'm not normal 😂

Never. I used occasionally to travel on the number 29 bus in London and see Helen Steel, one of the McLibel Two (go google) and nothing in the world would make me cross their threshold.

Probably less than once a year. I'm not snobby about McDonald's, just don't particularly like it.

Over the summer about once a week. It's the only toilet on our local shopping park, so would grab something quick.

Ds1 won't eat them (only the icecream) and ds2 is too young for one so maybe once every couple of months dh and I will grab a drive through if we're out somewhere and kids are having packed lunch.

Maybe once every 1-2 months. We live quite close to ones. The kids aren’t even that keen on the food but they like the happy meal toys 🙄

Me, maybe 3 or 4 times a year. 3 year old has had some fries at a service station once. I love McDonald's, would eat there a lot more if it were good for you and cheap!

I think I might have had it a week before the 1st lockdown in March 2020, and not since.

Before then, it was an occasional convenience. Like, probably less than once every 2 months.

Dd has had it plenty in her life, as a treat and as a convenience. There's a drive-through on our route "down home" that has sometimes been a useful stop. There are a few locally as well that we've been to on many occasions.

But we just don't find it that interesting as food, more fuel when we need it. (And there is a fair amount of other options when we are in need of just fuel that are tastier).

Never, and they're teens! We do have takeaways though, pizza and Indian usually, get them locally

Since lockdown last March we get gast food like mcdonalds, dominos, kfc way more often as life has been so boring and cooking-heavy (for me) so we'll get one of those maybe every 2 weeks sometimes more.

I don't eat them, my sons did ooccasionally when younger, but not bothered now. I don't like fried food, l don't judge others who do enjoy them, each to their own.

When my girls were little we had it maybe every three months or so. I don’t know how often they have it now (they’re adults).

I haven’t had a McDonald’s meal in over a year now. I really fancied one the other day and was planning to get it but it didn’t materialise in the end.

A Big Mac, fries and chocolate milkshake is my guilty pleasure, maybe once every couple of months. I go in alone, when the dc are at school Grin

About once every 2 months as we're not local to one but sometimes more in the holidays if we are travelling about

Currently 3-4 times a year
When DC small - still occasional but when they were off sick from school as a treat I would take them to a drive through in their pyjamas. Plus, if I had anything really boring/long to do at a shopping centre (like going to a mobile phone shop or choosing curtains), I could guarantee compliance from them with the promise of a McDonalds afterwards

I’d say less then once per month.
I do love a good Maccie D but trying to lose weight and when I go there I want a Big Mac menu and a flurry, so….

Far too often. But I've become a greedy fat lazy fucker.
Were detoxing from it all now. Back to home cooked goodness and excersise.
Kids aren't happy about the no takeaways till Halloween rule
