I know being famous means you cannot leave your old life and start again like some missing people must.

Some people just vanish though don't they? Taking no money or ID.

Can people just "disappear? I know a lot of these people will have been murdered and no evidence found but how come it hadn't happened to anyone famous.

Had a drink tonight abs I can't really put it into words what I'm trying to say.

Olivia Newton-John partner ( maybe recent ex I can't remember) was missing pressummed dead, while he didn't have a public profile she definitely did.

John Stonehouse, an MP who pretended to commit suicide doing a Reggie Perrin, but was caught out.

Although he's not a celebrity and I titled the thread MISSING I remember the "canoe man" faking his death.

Yes, Agatha Christie went missing for a few weeks to Harrogate we stayed in the hotel that she went to and they have a little write up about it. We had a lovely weekend there although the first morning things went wrong and the dining room was more like Fawlty Towers as waiters were walking about with trays of breakfast and asking if it was yours. It was hilarious then a young man stepped in and sorted everything out very efficiently. We had a laugh about with him the second morning when everything went like clockwork.
