So going to a war-zone like a twat is a tinny bit understandable. Tweeting racist shit about refugees, not so much.

It’s impossible to organise anything now. Lyse Doucet was to have flown into Kabul yesterday evening on an Emirates flight, the last one scheduled to land. It hovered over the city for an hour before being turned back to Dubai.

She reported it was due to pick up 400 Afghan civilians, including 100 children, who had reserved their seats on the return journey. They were waiting on the tarmac with whatever belongings they had managed to gather as the plane circled. The airport was then shut down to all commercial flights and they have no other means of escape. Heartbreaking.

If you are going to lie to the Taliban I would strongly suggest not then reporting it on social media while you are still in the country.

My heart breaks for the person he has taken that seat off, not for this twunt.

I wish he had some sort of consequence for doing this, but probably what will end up happening is a shit ton of interviews on day time TV, maybe a quick LBC interview. Till the next time, when he does it again.

Also has of this morning, Sir Laurie Bristow, the UK ambassador was still in Kabul, processing visas to get people out, he might be getting out on Sunday, but at this point its uncertain

The development stage of their brain explains impulsively. It doesn't explain homophobia. Being an arsehole explains that and that's fairly stable over time.

Does that make more sense?

Actually now I've looked into a bit more I agree he's a massive twat. I don't wish death on him but I feel a lot more sorry for the Afghan civilians than I do for him.

He might have planned it in May but he arrived there last week.

He is clearly stupid and his constant moaning that the British Embassy are ignoring him is ridiculous.

Who goes there a week before a taliban invasion and expects the embassy to bail him out.

He is posing with guns and also posting from his 'safe house'. He is risking the lives of all the people there.

He is clearly a huge attention seeker and should be arrested or at least added to a 'watch list' if he is lucky enough to make it home alive.
