I’ll go first:

Losing a pet is not the same as losing a child.

Now your turn!

A big tin of soup plus bread is a meal for one Grin

There's nothing wrong with Christmas Eve boxes.

Iquitit · 07/08/2021 10:43

That society relies on many low income jobs and the people that do them work hard and aren't just lazy, wide screen TV hoarding lay abouts who can't be arsed.

Co sleeping with your child is not the answer to every sleep related problem 🙄

traintraveller · 07/08/2021 10:44

Not all men who decide to leave their marriage are shagging someone else

HPLikecraft · 07/08/2021 10:46

Halloween traditions and "Santa Claus" (as opposed to Father Christmas) are Americanisms, if you want to unleash some Scottish and Irish fury!

GlutenFreeGingerCake · 07/08/2021 10:46

Something to do with being a vegan.

MoChridhe · 07/08/2021 10:46

It's normal have kids at a wedding reception

AppleWatched · 07/08/2021 10:46

That DC over the age of 23 in full time employment really should think about moving out of the family hotel home.

sst1234 · 07/08/2021 10:47

That being a stay at home parent is not a job in the same way as working for someone else in paid employment or being self employed with paying clients.

That wearing shoes around the house is disgusting.

That not wishing your hands after going to the toilet is even more disgusting (astonishingly lots of threads on here where MNers openly admit to not doing it)

That children are first and foremost the parents’ responsibility. It is not the states responsibility to teach people to parent or be held responsible for bad parenting.

That old houses are horrible to live in. Only nice to look at in tv shows.

Sunshine is nice.

badacorn · 07/08/2021 10:49

Wearing shoes indoors is unspeakably revolting vs how dare you ask me to take my shoes off

Something about stepparents not seeing their step kids exactly as their own bio children

Bizawit · 07/08/2021 10:50

Omg some of these comments are so wrong / offensive 😂

Microwaveableteapot · 07/08/2021 10:50

A wedding with a separate evening reception invite list is perfectly normal and "only" being invited to the evening do isn't a grievous insult.

50ShadesOfCatholic · 07/08/2021 10:51

I'm too tired to cook tonight

50ShadesOfCatholic · 07/08/2021 10:51

It is August

Asking a basic question is not 'confrontation'.

Eating more than half a can of soup is gluttonous.

ChazsBrilliantAttitude · 07/08/2021 10:53

Should grandparents babysit?

Some middle class parents are a bit shit.

£100k is a good income even in London

MangoSeason · 07/08/2021 10:54

UK heatwaves are not really hot.

Dogs survive and thrive in hot climates.

Anthropomorphism of dogs is ridiculous and dangerous.

Some women aren’t happy unless their is a man making them unhappy.
