Locked Parking Thread - The Actual End

This has been a wild ride made substantially more entertaining by DBs shenanigans but the end is in sight.

Hopefully by 8.35 the car will be free. I will be downing something alcoholic and next time the straw comes I'll make him bring it in by hand one bale at a time WITHOUT unlocking the gate!

I'm going to go for dignified and just let him out and convince myself that him moving it at all makes this a draw my victory. He no doubt will do the same and we'll both potter off happily into the sunset hopefully never to meet again!

He or his partner probably are reading this thread
I have been wondering the same.... And he STILL doesn't get it.
WiddlinDiddlin · 03/08/2021 21:11

@littletinyboxes

Bloody hell- so basically he has decided he'll just turn up at the time he originally wanted ('about' 9) despite OP clearly telling him that would not be convenient. It's just so unashamedly blatant. I wish OP had scary looking dogs she could release just as he arrives (I have a feeling she would have told us if she did). She could tell him they always start to patrol at 9pm but he's welcome to collect the car if he thinks he can get past them. In the time that it's taken for the CF to collect his car she could probably have trained a few to chase and snarl but not actually bite. I may have been overthinking this
Think the OP has German Shepherds! It was in thread one!

I've thought this from the start

They're probably playing drinking games based on the MN responses (and are pissed as farts as a result and have been since it all kicked off)

PerciphonePuma · 03/08/2021 21:11

Ok I'm going to go there.... I think this might actually be approaching Mexican House Thief levels of cheeky fuckery..... Confused

DobbyTheHouseElk · 03/08/2021 21:11

He’s not coming is he?

RookieRoo · 03/08/2021 21:11

@MotionActivatedDog

Tell him it’s been towed and then send him your brothers phone number instead of the tow company’s number Grin give DB the heads up.
I just choked laughing.

I would also volunteer my number.

Meadowlands1 · 03/08/2021 21:11

I wonder how much a tow company costs - we could have a whip round

OnTheBoardwalk · 03/08/2021 21:11

It's taking up mental space for you even if the physical space it's taking up isn't a problem.

This!

I was going to say the same. I’m really pissed off (and I don’t usually get this way about a thread) about how much head and mental space he’s taken from you over the last what 3 days. Little fecker

I’d def name and shame him on FB

Iwantamarshmallowman · 03/08/2021 21:11

@AppleKatie

I don’t get why he doesn’t need his car though Confused arrogant entitled fuckwit.
I'm guessing its a second car or he is currently driving the car of his wife who he has probably blamed for this whole thing.
Orgasmagorical · 03/08/2021 21:11

Once he's picked up the twatmobile Ranger there'll be a surge on the National Grid and toilets will be flushed all over the world at the same time Grin

UtterlyUnimaginativeUsername · 03/08/2021 21:12

DEFINITELY give him DB's number instead of the tow company Grin

THIS THIS THIS THIS THID
WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll · 03/08/2021 21:12

I don't suppose you have a friendly local scrap car yard who might have an identical vehicle currently 'mid-process' - all mangled up - that they might be willing to lend to you for a day or two, to 'display' outside your gate, in front of your Land Rover? Tell them it's a pop-up art installation for charity, or something?

BlueLobelia · 03/08/2021 21:12

Right, I am not waiting up for cheeky fucker parker anymore. I have a Sydney Sheldon book to finish and bed. [yawn]

night all.

Put me down for £20 for the tow truck.

He's taking up mental space for half of mumsnet!
nottomgates · 03/08/2021 21:12

You need to demand an apology. Many apologies in fact. He gets the award for the biggest cf in history. Entitled bollocks for brains.

Motorina · 03/08/2021 21:12

Bare minimum sprinkle a few nails in front of and behind one of his wheels. Nice slow puncture. Spikey places, farm yards.

Window1 · 03/08/2021 21:13

So he said he'd be 5 minutes and then he wasn't just 5 minutes.

He is not prepared to back down on this is he. Only ends on his terms according to him.

Hugoslavia · 03/08/2021 21:13

Right, lock up, turn all the lights off and go to bed.

Givemebackmylilo · 03/08/2021 21:13

Put me down for £20 for the tow truck.

Another £20 here.

MotherofTerriers · 03/08/2021 21:14

curtains shut don't answer the door
Phone FC tomorrow and ask them to tow it out of the way
If he picks it up first, fine, if not, costs you nothing

Vallmo47 · 03/08/2021 21:14

Unreal.

PerciphonePuma · 03/08/2021 21:14

Another £20 here - genuine offer, as I said previously
